Hey my bike's rpm will start at 1.5

then after i travel at a constant speed (lets say on mandai road for 20 mins) , then i stop at a traffic light, the rpm will drop to a dangerous 0.8 to 1. the sound of the engine like going to die like that. i have to keep revving the engine to keep it alive. it gets worse if my headlight is on. slightly better if its off. it wasn't like this before and the idling like i said was 1.5 before travelling.

advice?

But i think it should not be the case. Normally for my bike when i start, its idling is about 1k. Then after riding for 15.20 mins, it reaches 1.8k-1.9k. But in his case, his idling goes down after riding. I recalled his funny problem where i had to keep revving which happened to my YBR and it had a falty ignition coil. TS, go to your mech and ask him to check it out. If not idling screw, not your carb setting, not your battery, could be your coil.

But his case its normal idling then dies. I thought when you ride then your idling goes up after your bike has fully warmed up?

I talked to my mechanic yesterday when I took my bike in about the same problem, he said its possible that the carb tuning is off. Hes gonna take a look at it, and I should get my bike back today or tomorrow morning (NA time). So ill post back with the difinitive results, but he told me it was either dirty float bowls or mis-tuned carbs.
