Any reviews on the Samsung Jet???

been using it second day running.

 

it's a good phone with lotsa features for a basic user. nice sceen.

 

if you're looking for a smartphone, this is not for you.

its a wonderful phone. fast and reliable.. my prev hp omnia is much of a let down. slow like hippo.

if ur looking for smartphone features then this not it. but if u looking phone with smart features than this is it. it has everything practically cept for office mobile.

 

now accs for this phone is not rampant at the moment. im still waiting for its scratch resistant screen. anyone?

quite good for the price....

i only waiting for them to come out with more softwares n widgets! lolx....

abit hard to use for me, as the touch screen functions differ from my previous N95 8Gb..

 

but overall, the phone has alot of suprises...camera is decent...but the sound coming out from only the bottom of the phone is a bit of a let down...sound quality is not sharp, even if using the ear-piece...

 

its a decent phone to get imho...

i find the SQ still acceptable. at least for phone calls.

 

cant expect too much out of it. if i want good SQ for music, i'll use a full fledge MP3 player.

try switching ur player sound mode ==> WOWHD...

u'll find the diff btn tat mode n the usual rock,jazz.. etc..

lastly..

its the song which needs to be of a better quality then add a good earpiece n tada...

overall.. the earpiece is a lil letdown..

will need to find a over-the-neck earpiece for listening to music..

music volume max is so-so.. can hear.. n wun blast ears..

if wan blast.. juz attach speakers put inside helmet or hang on the ears.. lolx

 

lastly..

i found out that the hp will auto reset sometimes..

might be the memory cache not enuff.. den have to reset to clear cache etc... since it have a power of a mini pc.. heehee

martin fields screen protector can be get from mobilesquare and doml. can google them out.

 

btw, raceshield can also be applied on samsung jet. check out raceshield webby.

i'm considering getting it raceshield-ed due to fact that mobilesquare and doml always tell me their screen protector out of stock.

got my jet shielded.

 

took some time as the shop was extremely busy with people.

 

left my phone with them at noon. they t-loan me a temp phone. and collect my jet after work.

can someone shout out in here if they come across a flip up leather pouch for this jet. the phone kindda slippery to touch and also fingerprint magnet. hmm. need accs for the phone. its so hard to source for one

So how's the race shield?

i would say so far so good. cant be seen visually.

on close inspection then can see it.

 

but then the edges, it doesnt fully cover up. still has small small areas that wont be protected. but doesnt matter that much.

 

as more impt is the screen and main body is covered.

phone is considered quite new..

have to wait till a while b4 their accs are out..

i tink mostly out of stock coz there was really alot of bunch of ppl buying jet the other weekend i went bcoz of the samsung fr AYG promo...
