Most of the marinas and yacht clubs have cabin cruisers for hirers but due to their size, they come standard with a skipper.

 

Only SAF Yacht club has self drive, open deck boats for hire, but you would need to be a member.

so any members here. we can hire a boat. share out the cost n go for a day of fishing.. most probably the boats for rents r 12 footer DYNAGLASS 'V' hull boats. can take up to 8pax including boatman.

 

will rock like hell tho... i prefers the Boston Whaler 'W' hull,which is much more stable but more bumpy during the ride.

Some one actually recommended me a rental at punggol marina, about 200 for 8 hours without petrol.. a 20ft dynaglass boat, u guys think its expensive?

Rental cost is ok.. $25 per hour.

 

But its always the petrol which will be costly. Boats can really drink petrol..
