Hey guys, just want to clear things out by gathering opinions on how I should act on the problem I'm facing.

I just received NTUC's letter stating that the driver that I met an accident on 16th April had proceeded to file a claim against me. It states that I have 7 days to provide them with any evidences that I was not in the wrong and I should report to NTUC any accident within 24 hours at the time of incident.

On 17th April I went to IDAC to assess the damage following NTUC's advise. Then I proceeded to do up the damages with my own expenses at a local motodiam. He told me that he'll help me with the claims against the driver.

The thing is, I was in the wrong since I exited the minor road from a one-way street and when I went out, the driver knocked me down. The damages to his car were minimal; number plate scratched.

My question is, whether I could do anything in this current state I am in? Worst come to worst, do I need to fork out more money to pay for his damages?

Got take picture? If not, the other party might go all out and say this damage, that damage...more headache. For this best to get advice from the lawyers.

Give your insurer your version of what happened. Since they gave you 7 days, do it promptly. They have to decide whether to defend or settle the claim being made against you.

1st thing 1st, u no need to fork out any money.

everything will be covered under insurence, only ur premium will increase and if u have ncd will be reset to 0%.

so who was wrong? u or the driver??

did u try to do a private settlement with the driver?

what was damaged him his/her car??

u said u were injured, u got mc??

anything broke? or just scratches?

at least must be 3 days mc.

ur bike what happened? just scratches and signal light broke?

if that person damage is very minimal try to do private settlement.

since u said u were wrong as u existed from a 1 way road, u were going against the traffice flow??
