GUYS those who know me know that i am a big fan of LOUD exhaust... I have this crazy idea =)

I thought of removing my end can n ride for a day =D

Then if kanna caught i say my exhaust pipe stolen, say going to fix it now =)

 

Cos i search you tube, when end can removed, it sounds like moto GP bike siaaaaaaa =D

 

Any advise??????????????????????

think if you remove your endcan, setting will run... its worth a try, if can, video it down.. lol.

guys, what's troubling me now is that my road tax end in 02/10/10. bike in shop, unable to renew it @ the moment. any good advice? what i can think of now is to lay up the bike... tomorrow will go bikeshop & face the music...

Taking off your exhaust will cause loss of power.

 

If you want noise, grind of the welds at the end can and have the innards removed. A cheaper solution is getting a pipe slightly longer then your end can sharpened and ram it down from the tip of your exhaust. That will puncture the base of your exhaust baffle resulting in a straight through effect.

 

You'll get a sound similar to a Yoshimura...

ben, try going to guan hoe... ask the uncle... see what he has to say about it... his quite knowledgeable... he might let u know if its either a minor or major problem... i personally doubt its conrod... i think its something got to do with carb or throttle body... something like that... conrod mean it will give out horrible sound instead of rev till high rpm...

oh.. icic... so the commonly spoken G4 are actually "GSX-R 400 RP" ya..?

 

 

 

as i've been driving for the last 2 years... realli lost touch with bikes... any kind and free souls would like to accompany mi to view a G4..? n advice mi on the bike.. :cheeky:

 

who u buying from..? i selling also... alot of wear and tear parts replaced...

ive tried removing the exhaust b4 and reving it to around 5k rpm... loud like crazy but i never got a chance to ride it... use my pipe la, quite loud also... hehehe... :thumb::thumb::thumb:

hugen, you dont even know how to dismentle the endcan???

its near your right footrest. go take a good look, make sure you dont break the connected part. mine cracked @ that area before as it rust. in the end gota wield another piece to connect. good luck.

hahaa..u'll definitely attract alot of attention..and its definitely louder than class 2 bikes with akrapovic pipe...quite easy to dismantle..one screw at the right pillion footrest...the other one is below ur right footrest

from msia custom all the way back home...then travel along BKE PIE to paya lebar...if kana caught..just say ur pipe kana stolen lo..hahaha

it will not be scrapped... coming out in 2weeks time.

 

advice for you guys out there, if you hear metal tick x2 sound coming from piston area when you start up, as you throttle, the sound go faster, it can be heard when you squat beside the bike. off it straight & tow to bikeshop, dont try your luck like me, do not close throttle suddenly.. otherwise, will be like me. piston hitting block head...

That is bad, how much is the damage?

Since open up the engine liao, might as well change any other wear and tear stuff. :)
