I might need some of the parts myself!

 

But depends on the condition la haha.

 

Anyways hope to be getting my bike back soon .

Things done so far:

Brand new rear suspension, new rubbers in carbs, serviced carbs, double bubble windscreen, voltmeter, Pilot Sport tyres, Did o ring + VAZ sprokets, front brake pump, gaskets + waterpump oil seal, Maxima CoolAid, 2nd hand rear hugger, 2nd hand front brake disc, Fizz Power brake pads front and back, 2nd hand front and back rims, Yusa battery, Reconditioned 2nd hand carbs by Planet, Front sticker number plate, front wheel bearings, new clutch plates, fortuna paintwork sponsored by spastic driver, Keitin tank pad.

 

Need sugar mommy for : Hel brake lines and top end overhaul.

bros need help!! my bike refuded to start today... starter motor is turning but engine isn't cranking... n d bike backfired, got loud explosion sound... any idea wats wrong?

Any other symptoms? when you say starter motor is turning but engine isn't cranking do you mean :

1) You only hear the "tiak tiak" sound of the starter motor trying to start but no cranking sound

2) you hear the "tiak" sound as well as the cranking sound bu tthe engine does not start up

 

did the explosion come after you started the bike or while you were starting the bike?

 

Checked your fuse? lights all working?

well the tiak sound was there n d engine was trying to crank... n d explosion sound was while trying to start... but d bike didn't start eventually

n d lights were all working... din check d fuse though... addictive suggested it maybe cdi prob... hoping its not

Tried to pull the choke? turn to prime and crank while at the same time throttle n let go throttle n let go. Hold on to the start button while turning the throttle n letting go. See if it starts up.

Sorry to interupt your discussions.. hehe, but can help me spread the word to G4 enthusiasts? thanks bros!

 

Hi!!! I'm selling away my precious ride for $1.7k. Its an FT plate (renewed COE) and COE is till 2013. Rd tax till March 07. here are the things i just changed and serviced within the past 6 months

 

1) BT090 tyres (good for cornering)

2) tuning and carb wash

3) new clutch plates and cable

4) radiator flushed

5) new air filter

6) new rear brake pads, rear brake serviced

7) new fork oil seals, serviced fork

8) batteries 4 months used only

9) nice seat design (matches k2 paintwork)

10) NGKCR8 plugs

11) just changed r4 Engine oil and oil filter on the 10th Nov

 

Plus, i'm throwing in a FREE GPR full face (blue design) that matches perfectly with the bike paintwork!!

 

Selling the bike coz i'm going overseas. Seriously, i have meticulously done up the bike since getting it last year. Regular oil change and wax etc.. And i honestly hope the next owner can take good care of it as i did.

hmmz i encounter the same situation like yours be4...

Before that, bike like keep dying, after a while engine stalled, then try to start again ok....after tt tried to crank somemore, kena 1 loud explosive sound, dunno come from where, and it happened right after rainy ride. check, batt ok, can crank everything ok

but bike die die juz dun start..in the end tow to shop, change cdi.

hopefully yours is an different case from mine.

ya..really sad to hear so many giving up G4..and also miss a chance to buy gd G4 at a cheaper price.. :cry:

It seems that most bikers like to go back to GUAN HOE(suzuki authorise repair ctr)...its in the east ...in eunos area.....

 

However its nice to go wif some frens too...

 

Bogey=where is planet motor located...maybe i cld join u guys too....if its a weekend tat is...If its wkday...i cnt make it....
