G4 tank use valcumn suction, so under normal circumstances, the following 2 mode will not flow out unless you throttle while engine is running

on--> petrol flow until main tank is empty

reserve--> main tank empty, petrol in reserve compartment will flow in

 

however if u set to prime or pri,

Petrol will continue to flow regardless from reserve or main tank, engine running or not.

Normally use this mode drain petrol into an empty carb..

i dnt tink most shops open in the evening.....Nevertherless...you can go ahead wif BLood to go and change the EO....then maybe we'll just mit up in the evening....

i turn on ignition. Can make a switch whereby i can turn on and off as i like, and

 

auto on when temp. is hot ? And around how much wil it be ?

i want to vicom inspection yesterday, i was fail becas i didnt have red reflecter and mud guard... red reflecter i believe so, but mud guard????

can someone please tell me do gsx got mud guard one meh????? :confused:

if u are doing DIY, i would like to do it also.... do inform me when u are doing it... :cheer:

Bro...i believe you failed the inspection is due to no chainguard.....cos the original G4 hugger comes wif the chain guard as well....its one whole set tingy....however is your G4 has no hugger then you wld need to pu a small piece of chain guard like you cna see on those small bikes....RXZ or cubs....

As for reflector....if there's no place to put for it..t.hen they shldnt pinalise you....unless previous owner had mod the mudguard....in which he has cut the bottom portion of....coz the reflector placement is normally just below your back license plate....OR OR OR...the prev owner has totaly removed the mud-guard and your license plate is being held by a modified holder..then...there's nothing much u can do and coz u bought the bike like tat and try to plea wif the officer....

Bro there's no other name to it accept....itsa "M-MODEL".....the reason they dnt know is due to the many models of GSXR-400R.....wat they are firmiliar wif is only the RR-model....coz tats the latest model....and most of them haf difficulty differentiating the models of GSXR400....so u cant blame them....maybe u cld describe to them...."its a model that has the adjustable rear suspension reservoir"....coz thats the only noticable difference of SP model to the standard model....

Anyone has managed to install LEDs into their consoles?

My lights are kinda dim =P

Would be neat to have red leds !

Things done so far:

Brand new rear suspension, new rubbers in carbs, serviced carbs, double bubble windscreen, voltmeter, Pilot Sport tyres, Did o ring + VAZ sprokets, front brake pump, gaskets + waterpump oil seal, Maxima CoolAid, 2nd hand rear hugger, 2nd hand front brake disc, Fizz Power brake pads front and back, 2nd hand front and back rims, Yusa battery, Reconditioned 2nd hand carbs by Planet, Front sticker number plate, front wheel bearings, new clutch plates, fortuna paintwork sponsored by spastic driver, Keitin tank pad.

 

Need sugar mommy for : Hel brake lines and top end overhaul.

yup there is....anyway....if its a must then...i must put it on my RXZ then....coz...abt to go for inspection soon.....and now wondering....is it the reflector a must due there's a space to put it on the mudgurad....what if...the mud-guard doesnt haf tat space...Is it still a must....???
