alamak, i go LAB get bike cover. ask them confirm confirm water resistant, they say ok. then now its not water resistant. si beh sian

Sometimes....heavy downpour can even make the most water resistance bike cover looks bad.....i guess its always the lighter or thinner bike cover is better....

the one i just got, dont even need heavy downfall. after i buy, i go toilet and test...... within 20sec.... the water go across already......

 bro, you know where can get 100% water resistant covers? i remember long long (noe noe) time ago, i got my first cover from LAB, steady phoon pi pi, 100% waterproof. then knn kana stolen. subsequently i still go LAB and buy, even till today, but i always insist on waterproof one they just cannot give me the same one as last time.

if waterproof, easily torn like paper material. if better material, not waterproof at all. wah lau. i feel like taking it back to them tmr.

got one type, outside shining grey, inside like got a green layer one...... anyone know where to get?

wah one bike cover can write sooooooo long.... hahaha:sweat:

Naz, yep i figured its the wiring. i experiment experiment replace fuse then everything ok. weirdly enough even the rpm meter worked after tt - so it's not a cable thing.

unfortunately ride a bit then same prob again - figure fuse blown. like naz, i also lazy to check the wiring one by one - brought to GH and Mr Chong replaced my rear lights then ok already.

after riding around and heading home (bloody rain) i realized the SAME THING happened. tmrw going back to the workshop. now worried about the downpour outside - hujan kucing dan anjing.

ANYWAY

when's the 2007 outing? how about a sat so can lepak a bit.

The dashboard indicator, and rpm are interlinked to the same fuse. I encountered the same problem like yours before abt 1/2 yr back. Perhaps what u can do is to try to change to a higher resistor fuse. blown a couple of 10v fuses while trouble shooting, so I tried 20v fuse and followed on by insulating all the cut/naked wires with duct tape that r prone to water contact(especially while raining) and it works fine for me even been thru couple of heavy rains. So far so good.

As for outing, i'm fine as long it doesn't clash with CNY =P... bro maybe u can try to determine a location?

The best outing out be an outing to the track!

Its not really that expensive and its really fun.

Can go in, maybe 1 or 2 sessions then go pump petrol and makan all at the same time.

mito : ahahah slowly slowly la...first must meet up, makan and talk. after that can discuss about going up m'sia or track.

anyway i think makan is always good - since can eat and wait. sure some ppl late one. heh jalan kayu seems the popular vote to meet up first. - unless anyone got any complaints. Polabear made a good point.

addictive : you how many times wanna makan! jalan kayu makan, bedok makan, bistro is fancy word for makan, cineleisure makan popcorn

krehehe anyway route after jalan kayu is open to discussion. so far okl is adverse to town - tho i think if we go late enough no traffic and no erp heh.

stardust: i tht the date was a sat? change change should be 20th Jan. sorry guys, i must have been using last years calendar or something.

Jan 20 2007, Saturday. Jalan Kayu. 10pm.
