remove the tube from the spare tank to leak the coolant out or remove the whole spare tank to wash.

if u wanan juz wash the coolant reservoir, just simply remove the left tail fairing and the coolant bottle will be easily accessible.

but then, if u r topping up with a different kind of coolant(especially engine ice and premix are of different kind of coolant) from the one in the radiator, it's better to flush the whole coolant system.

either diy or u can spare 20 bucks @ most of the motorshop to do for u.

oh, ok thanks!!

i went to planet to get another bottle of coolant liao. last time he change for me the main coolant system, use one brand of coolant (one bottle, i think with green words and cap one, i forgot what brand).

ystd i went to get from him again, he gave me one grey bottle with black cap, called "powermax tropicool 2". i think can mix lah.

Guys, battery water is deionized water is distilled water.

It becomes acidic only upon acidosis reaction with the lead plates and forms the electrolyte.

U can drink that battery water :) It does not contain mineral impurities.

Naz, I'm afraid that might not be the case. Thou, battery water is deionized water but it is not distilled water. Both are similar in the sense that the impurities in deionized water are only organic compunds, but not mineral impurities, so there's no problem using deionzised water for water activated batteries but not recommended for coolant usage.

Bottom line is that distilled water is pure, deionized water aka battery water is not complete pure.

And yes, deionized can be drink, but not in large quantity. It can be harmful..

Health Risk of drinking demineralized water

so distilled water (mineral water) can be used as battery water?
