YA EFI means electronic fuel injection, everytime you turn the trottle, a sensor dectects the amount of input and injects petrol into the engine accordingly. Thats why EFI bikes can use power commander, the power commander has different preset mappings to respond to your trottle input. EG, touring mode, track mode etc.

 

For Carbs, its more of a mechanical thing, we trottle, the cable "lifts" the needles and the amount of petrol your engine receives is dependant on the amt of space the needles create when it is lifted. It is definately more inaccurate and prone to wear and tear as compared to eletronical.

 

For carbs, the only thing you can really do to improve your fuel feeding system is the dyno jet. =/

Things done so far:

Brand new rear suspension, new rubbers in carbs, serviced carbs, double bubble windscreen, voltmeter, Pilot Sport tyres, Did o ring + VAZ sprokets, front brake pump, gaskets + waterpump oil seal, Maxima CoolAid, 2nd hand rear hugger, 2nd hand front brake disc, Fizz Power brake pads front and back, 2nd hand front and back rims, Yusa battery, Reconditioned 2nd hand carbs by Planet, Front sticker number plate, front wheel bearings, new clutch plates, fortuna paintwork sponsored by spastic driver, Keitin tank pad.

 

Need sugar mommy for : Hel brake lines and top end overhaul.

well.....its been a long while since i chatted here.....been dwn and out since the new year....I've just finished reading the like 5-6 pages of stories...and seen a few new buddies....and the outing list is getting longer & longer...which is great...hehhe...will definately turn ppl heads when they see the long line of G4s...

 

So david...its you who bought the G4 wif the replica ferrings...hehhehe...nice bike indeed...i bet its pwrful too...as its an MSP...

 

Anyway wish me luck guys....as my TP is tomorrow.....and if PASS which i tink i shld(if GOD wills it)....then will be riding my G4 when i go out wif u guys on the 20th....if nt...then...its my ever faithful...RXZ then....:cheer:

 

 

SO see u guys on the 20th then....and wait for my gd news on wed...

I doubt the price will fall any much further than 1.5k.

 

Even the CBRs are still depreciating in value up till today..... hahaha......

just be confident and dont make any immediately failures. 2a is definately much easier then 2b. I passed both first time but i got 18 pts for 2b while only 4 for 2a..

yeah man, TP just make sure u dun fall or make obvious immediate failures

 

i met this girl at the room where they made us wait before announcing our results and we both thought we blew it. in the end, our numbers never got called (meaning pass la, yes!)

 

btw while waiting for ur number to be called, keep in mind its not always in chronological order. this one guy celebrated when they announced a higher number than his, then a few mins later had to sadly leave when they started on a new set.
