me me me!

Deciding between Arai helmet or the brake hose. So hard to choose.

Get HEL hoses lah... cheaper than Arai for sure.....

One set should be about 180 exclusive of installation i tink. You'll need to check again.

Vector One is the distributor for HEL hoses in Sg.

No problems.

As long as the smoke doesn't appear all the time when you ride and its not bluish in colour and of course no funky smell, there shouldn't be much to worry about.

whats the difference between an endcan and a exhaust system?

how does power commander make a difference in EFI bikes?

anyone using the clutch-free gear-upshifting method? just tried it today and find it very smooth (than normal clutch-in, up gears) at high speeds. i find it unsuitable to use at low speeds (

Exhaust system includes the headers which is the 4 pipes sticking out of your bike.

Seems like there is this guy who just thinks that the best is LC350 and the rest smell smoke.

What i think is...this matter is very subjective.....

1)clementi to Pasir panjang..???....there's a speed camera along the way.2 of them if am not mistaken..WHAT these ppl dnt slow down or INVINCIBLE..??

2)VTEC2 vs LC350...???....2-stroke vs 4 stroke....both haf their plus and minus pts..

3)old bike VS new bike..???...Depends on rider skills....Just like in "need for speed movie"..You can haf a fast car...but if u dnt know how to ctrl yur clutch and accelerator....you can still loose...

4)Road condition plays apart...Traffic flow...

5)Condition of the bike...cld be the S4 ws having some engine prbs...Do we know ..??...Does the Lc350 rider knows(this is base on the fact is tat these riders dnt know each other)....If they do know each other...then..its a whole different story...

Therefore base on this kinda situation...you're judging that the bike you haf is powerful....For all u know it cld sometime be TRAFFIC POLICE in special operations.....teasing and challenging you....then he slow down and take note of your plate no...or force u to go fast that u forgot abt speed cameras...well...i wld do tat if i were a TP....tease those young riders...especially those ya-ya-papaya on the rd...then for all they know...kena FINED

MY TRUE OPINION

Dear Riders ...IF you want to do a proper test do it in the track on at least at 2nd link....do a proper start and stop....Not on s'pore rds where u're riding and saw another bike weez past by you....You not happy and try to catch up...end up u haf a small race...then..wat happen next...where do u stop e race...do u guys knw where each other is heading...For u know...u mite just miss yur exit...and end up wsting petrol and time...Not to mention a hazrd to other rd users...Therefore fellow riders please ...please ....USE YOUR BLAIN ...USE YOUR BLAIN...

Personally i felt the LC was a pretty powerful bike. Its still one of the most powerful in its class.

Then again, we would have to take alot of factors into consideration if you want to talk about comparing them n which it better. You have to consider their condition, stockness, distance to race etc.

Even if you were to decide on a 1/4 mile drag or a full track run you still have to consider the abilities of the bike itself. Is it a track-meant bike or a street bike? Is it set-up to race on track? Everything has to be carefully considered to ensure that a comparison is fair. Comparing a 1000cc sports bike to a cub is not fair, even a fully race cub it would not be considered fair. Under the right riders the cub may well win the 1000cc sports bike on track. It may be true... then again, who knows?

Having said that, i have no idea y the guy posted it here. Trying to stir something or an alternate agenda? If it should belong anywhere, it should be in the s4 thread, not here.

It would be good if you guys can get a list of pple who are confirmed in getting the hoses. I might be interested in getting a set for my present bike as well. In fact, if you guys can contact vector one n check with them what kind of prices they can give for more orders, if the price is right with mine, i might join in this mini MO.

wah no one replied to my post =(, maybe cos i dont ride gsx anymore lol

anyway, clutch free shifting to higher gears entails closing the throttle and kicking the gear lever upwards SIMULTANEOUSLY, without even touching ur clutch.

i realise that at high speeds, if done correctly, is really really smooth.

Its smoother, I have asked around whether is will damage the gearbox, so far its all mixed, some say that if u clutchless (CL) upshift only and dont downshift its ok, somesay that CL shifting will wear out gearboxes faster. I even had a reputable mech tell me that he willing to use his head as a wager that both up and down CL shifting is fine as he has been using it to ride all his life.

For me, i rather play safe, i only CL upshift when im *ahem* participating in non-normal riding. CL downshift is a nono as sometimes u hear a really loud KRAAAAAAAAAk sound and it makes my heart bleed.

Also, for 2a, any 2 stroke should own the 4 strokers simple as that. The walterwolf at Racewerks travels only 30km on full tank. I have heard that this 2a 2 stroker gives the R1s a run for their money.

But its hearsay, I havent actually seen that. I do know though, 2 strokers in the 2a class will own the 4 strokers in terms of acceleration (even RFV). Unless u are talking about NSH, that will remain true even for slightly longer races.
