Venue : 93/95 Kovan Rd (Q-Bistro Pool N Bar)

Yeah man ! Nice outing, nice place to chill out, nice fellow riders, nice drinks, nice atmosphere, most important, nice bikes out there ! But too little.. haha..

Hi guys i got a prob. My bike seems to get heated up quite fast. 2ndly there is a loud whistle sound comming from my bike once the temp heat the middle range. 3rd prob my bike juz die down by itself when i seem to heat 100 to 120km/hr especially when i start to slow down it will juz die down by itself and the red light frm the oil will appear.

overheated sign....

 

check your coolant water level.

 

check your radiator fan working or not......

if not radiator fan not working....get a switch to direct the connection.

 

turn it on when the temp gauge go high. switch off when its low....

 

when riding the temp will go down de....

 

if when riding the temp still high, you need to check your coolant pump and coolant system for leakage.

Fellow bros.....Its so nice to see all the "old bird" there...all haf upgraded to big bikes....and so experianced in G4....

 

ICEz...TNT...Ah Kiat....Smokin Joe....nice to be able to mit up wif u guys....

 

Hopefully we will haf more outings and gatherings wif you guys too....Feel free to just buzz all of us here if u guys are organising an event/touring trip...

 

Anyway....TNT now tat u mention abt the radiator fan....wld like to ask....coz i did ask my mechanic....abt it.....He say...

Yea...its true...there is a thermo switch that active the fan when the temp reach a certain degree....

 

when its cool...its will auto cut off the power to the fan...

 

When you are riding above 65km/hr, the temp will go down beri easily....unless your coolant got leakage or dry up....or else the coolant and engine is cool when riding ......

 

total there is 3 device which is copper in the cooling system. temp gauge sensor, thermo switch and lastly, thermo stat.

 

Remember, for a G4, must take care of the coolant and cooling system...if not, when jam, it will kill the machine.

well..as kiat mention it tat nite....redhotchilli's bike used to be his bike....not sure if the other G4 we haf now ever belong to any of the "old birds"...anyway....i think some of the old yellow G4 can still be seen ard on the rd....

 

Too bad those riders from the 1st G4 outing we had before cldnt make it tat nite...if not it wld be as wat it used to be as the outings the "old bird" had...Nevertheless....hopefully next outing/trip up wld be a great one...

 

Anyway Kiat...like the tattoo on yur arm.....if cld make tat into sticker wld be nice...then can paste on helmet or bike....
