Err... dunno wat is tat... hahaa... mind i saying, increase g4 performance is a little waste of money, cos u cant get much out of it.... save tat money get a bigger class 2 bike, mod till u siao lor.... or better get some riding gear... for ur protection... :cheer:

Could some one pass me a copy of the GSXR400RR service manual? I wanted to search for it myself, but there's more than 650 pages of forum material to search through.

I dnt tink any of us has the manual....is such an old bike...and i dnt remember reading in any of the pages....of any links....most of the knowledge we get here is via trial & error or abit of read of similar prbs to other bikes...However u can post qns here....there are ppl here who are more then willing to impart their knowledge and skills.....

Things To look for.....these are the normal for all 2nd hand bikes..whichever applicable....

The usual.....

1) Fork/suspension

2) Tyres/rim

3) Front Brakes/Rotors

4) Meters

5) Switches

6) Steering Cone

7) Fuel c.o.c.k

8) Fairings

9) Leakages around the engine block

10) Rear Brakes/Rotors

11) Rear Suspension

12) Chain

13) Alignment

14) Finally start the bike n have a feel of the response

15)Recent servicing done: Tuning, Spark plugs, air filter, oil filter, engine oil(repsol fully syn), flushed coolant, new tyres(pirelli diablo)

16) Fuel Consumption

17)Road Tax expiry

 

Specific to G4....hmmmm....if its not too loud or too noisy......If u're to clutched in and it there's not much crackling sound.....and when u turn the throttle its smooth feeling....LAST but not least...gif it a ride and feel the bike....u can sense it immediately if the engine is not good enuff...

OK hi every1 again for every1...We will be organising a trip to KUKUP malaysia.... its juz a short distance from singapore....around 100++km reach liao..

price will be 90 ringgit per person...for 1 night stay...including accomdation and 5 meals altogther.including seafood...bbq at night....u can fishing..sing ktv...we got sit boat to kelong also...can play majong play cards everything...more people join more fun...

Hope all of u here will join us for this trip...u can ask yr friend along too no problem....

DAte will be the last week of this month (april)

ok let's set the date on 28 ok..den can go to may 1st which is a holiday....ang changes will update ok..we see every1 date find 1 steady date n let;s go...

better not to be install...power restrict is to prevent any further harm to ur engine...if u defunction it...may cause further damage to the bike esp to an old bike...no pt.. :thumb:

i agree wif u dude...but if u realli crazy n in love wif G4...y not? decorate it...or mod it for track use..so tat u wun hav any great loss :smile:

Dear brothers,

 

I have a complete copy of the GSX-R 400 service manual for '91 - '93 models, which I purchased off the INTARNET. It is a few hundred pages complete with super alot of photos, diagrams, and components assembly information.

 

HOWEVER, the complete file size is 56 MB.

 

I will give it to anyone who has a file sharing website. Then we can all share the info instead of me emailing it to you all one by one. Like that my modem sure kenna fry.

 

Who here got a account on filesharing website and wanna volunteer to upload the file?

Maybe we should depart eariler incase we got into the wrong road and we might able to shop around the location before reaching there.

KIAT- Bro....if the date cld be changed to a later date...then i wld be able to follow...however 28th is just a nice date for all i think...coz of the coming 1st MAY holidays...then some of use cld take leave on the 30th April......So if date still stands as the 28th....Haf a fun time all....

 

Wongwz84 - There are these models....GSXr400 L /Lsp /N /Nsp /M /Msp /P /R or RR...Basicly....those modesl before "P" model has a higher horse power (59bhp)...As for P or R/RR model has abt 53bhp....this is after the power cut ruling has been implemented....Outlook is abt the same for all only cosmetic changes...BUT BUT the SP model bike has a shorter wheelbase....then the rest of the models....So tats abt it...in differences in the models...Dnt haf the URL link rite now...will post again once in office.....coz details is on office pc

 

 

hahabird - maybe u can post it on yur blog or something ...like multiply or something like tat....not sure if file sharing/ is allowed....
