A quick question for all the g4 veterans. I am looking to add an after air filter that does not require the removal of the airbox.

The only one I could find in my limited search was a one made for 1990 GSXR 400RL. They did not have one for 1991~1995 model.

I have a later model gk76a, and I was wondering if the one made of the RL can fit mine.

The OEM part number for 1990 RL is 13780-33C00 and for 1991 RM to 1995 RS is 13780-20C10.

The strange thing is that the part number for 1990 was superceded by the one for 1991~1995.

So, if I order this part would it fit my bike.

Once again, thanks in advance.

hmm but metal brake hoses not too bad also?

btw how much will it cost to change to steel?thxx

btw is it the rider seat to tk out mus use a screw to tk out??

metal hose = steel braided hoses.

y gd? Simple. your original hoses are made of rubber. Reason being cheap and relatively durable. Though it is thick, as with all rubber, what happens when you exert an outward force on it? Naturally it expands. So link this up with oil flowing through your rubber hoses. When you depress your brakes, oil is pushed into the hoses which forces the calipers to close in on the brake discs.

Now oil cannot be compressed so what happens? It exerts an outward force on the rubber hoses thus forcing it to expand and in the process some of the force that is supposedly to be used to brake is wasted on expanding the stoopid rubber thingy.

When you change to a steel braided one, metal does not expand thus almost all the force from your brake lever is transferred to the brake calipers which in turn account for better braking. And with no expansion of the lines, the undetermined amount of flex on the previous rubber lines is eliminated hence you get better feel of the brakes.

Understand?
