drag till just touch redline... plus u have to train urself how to change gears fast without letting ur RPM drop much.... once u manage to do tat... u can outrun any 400cc bike... cos seldom got pple train tat.... all just ride nia...

but be warn, doing tat often stress ur engine, clutch plate, and chain.... if u didnt do it properly it may even damage ur gears...

if u drag, 2nd gear u should reach 100 le.... unless i remember wrongly then its 3 gear... so u wanna try, try it in 2nd link or in track... it needs a little to get used to the speed and G force... and wear a full face...

All above is not recommended.... try at ur own risk....

i only do tat on track and sometimes 2nd link....

hi Red,

so are u trying to say that HIGHEST OUTPUT or LARGEST TORQUE is at 'just touch redline'?

otherwise, why is the 'optimal rpm' at 'just touch redline'?

LOL i must be damn bored

no no... i am not saying the highest torque is at redline... the highest torque is around 9000+/-, if u wanna start from a dead stop, rev ur bike to tat zone... but while moving its self explainable tat u dun change gear at tat point... try experiment ard and u will know wats best for ur bike...

our bike is old le.... every bike differ now...

by the reason for just touch redline is cos of the powercut... if u bike got it, once u pass redline a little u will feel sudden lost of power, forcing u to change gear... try it urself...

watever it is try at ur own risks

i believe it does . cause you're not letting the clutch "free run" before changing it .

so only if start from dead stop rev to near red zone , other then that just change around 10rpm for best pick up ? sorry noob here :cheeky:

i also donno y when i moving off my rpm will drop abit , kinda makes my pick up sucks :dozed:

seems like when u shift up clutchless at high rpms it won't hurt tat much but pls dun try clutchless dwshifts if nt......
