Speedometer and odometer not working while riding halfway

Hi all , I was on my way to work this morning and everything was fine.

 

Halfway through my journey , i glanced down and noticed that my speedometer and odometer stopped working.

What could be the reason? Is there anything that i can do it myself to rectify this problem?

 

I was washing my bike the day before.. anything to do with it?

If the meter stopped working suddenly, then its a case of the speedo cable broken. Just get a new speedo cable and all should be well.

Just go replace a new speedometer cable and it will fixed the problem.

correct! get frm LAB arnd $10 and ask the mech to fix outside the shop. easy to fix.

if my analog odometer is not working or counting only the first digit is moving now the rest is stock.. wat might be the problem? im riding a CBR150R bike.. thanks
