how much is 1 battery. My spec II kana the same problem also.

 

just to confrim, When switch on the bike, the needle goes up and down, when u ty to start the needle goes up and down again means its going low battery ?

 

i've asked around. spec3 battery around $60-80. not sure if spec2 uses the same..

 

i get what u mean by the needles jumping again when u try to start.. that happened to me before and my friend say its battery low.. im not sure how true is that though.

Charging stator coil - yellow and yellow 0-1.0ohm

Field coil line - white and black 0-4.0ohm

 

if exceeds the above ohm readings, ur coil is fried.

hey haha the mscp is at selegie there. nevermind bro my bike's ok now.. bought a new battery after pushing start myself.. roll down mscp.. lol. :angel:

pull start is easy on MSCP la. try on straight road and u try push start? i tell u, u wil be scared.. dunno will the bike fly once you throw crutch.. haha

actually i think push start will be better if you guys try half clutch and slowly release from there. be sure to pull in your clutch IMMEDIATLY once you feel your engine running. you don't want to bang into cars parked there in mscp!

Folks, my case now is that my RPM and speedo needle will swipe ONCE as per nornal when switched on.

However, the moment i start to crank, they will swipe ONCE MORE.

Is this a sign of low batt?

My batt is less than a yr old btw.

Kindly advice and tks.

Hi all, i also got the same problem. now okay already. just canot start. can horn, light all still bright. voltage state 9.9 when ignition on only haven start engine,i tink. anrd there. less than 10.

 

if lidat how? Light, horn all working only canot start. but i push start alone can start already.

 

also noticed that my cdi got this glue coming out. like melting. =(

 

pls advice thks. =)

when the batt is too weak and u started to crank the bike, the batt will not be sufficient to power the ecu. the ecu will restart.. thus, the meter swipe again..

check the batt condition and the charging system..

yr voltmeter readings are way too low..

use another voltmeter/multimeter to compare..

check that the socket that plug in yr cdi is in gd condition..
