As far as I know, Hewlett Packard (HP) has their Toner recycling programme in Singapore. We have those big deposit boxes in the office for that purpose. Not too sure about money or whether it includes discount incentives - vouchers towards a new toner cartridge purchase.

I was able to pull up the Samsung Takeback and Recycling Program page though. But I'm not sure whether Singapore has that though, or whether they give out incentives if they have.

Ideas anyone?

Woah woah, go easy there dude...

Nobody's suggesting you to simply give up quickly. Have you tried contacting Samsung Singapore to see if they have offer these kinds of recycling services?

Till then we can only see if other members here do know about this and can also help us here.

Cheers.

But like any consumer, if we dont get monies, what in it for us right? If i'm only gonna get 2 bucks for it, then what's the point wasting my time and energy returning it? Haha.

Guys! I need your help!

Okay. I went to Harvey Norman. I saw the toner value pack for my printer, (magenta, cyan, yellow and black) for $230. But the problem is, a new printer costs about $270. Its more worth it to buy a new printer right? Is there anyway i can trade in my old toner cartriages for a sum of money? Thanks!

If I am not mistaken, new printer come with toner that are not 100% fill. Maybe even less than 50%. Printer company make money not by selling printer but by the sale of refills.

First they lock you in with printer and you will have to get the toner from them.

Hmm.... Good point. But my printer toner has lasted me alomost one year.

Hello all!

Okay, i've checked with Samsung and sent them an email. Regarding the toner cartridges, they DO NOT take them back. So i guess i was right. Just throw them into dustbin.

Anyway, any knows where can i get super cheap toner cartridges? If possible, where to buy they powder so i can refill myself. Hehe!

haha.. i feel for you bro.. i bought my black only laser printer for $108 but its toner will cost me $90+. luckily my toner can still last me for a few more months. though, i'm not sure for laser printer, the cartridge is loaded with 50% powder just like inkjet printer. perhaps, you can consider toner refill. i might do the same for my printer when the toner runs out later. check this link out!
