yes I agree...depends on how well the owner takes care of the bike :) are 2-stroke 250cc engines difficult to take care of ie do they wear off faster since they're more powerful? sorry if it's a repeated question...

be fast, but also be safe!

no offences... dun u think u are slapping ur own face? if the owner would to take of the bike, chances of the parts wearing would be lesser... btw i dun think any of the pgm4 riders have done any major overhual like changing the crankshaft(maybe one or two have done that b4) those engine parts dun wear off so easily lah.. i think those common parts to change are those like rectifier, clutch plates and even maybe the valve motor. the fact is that pgm4 is quite a old bike for being on the road for more than 8yrs(i refering to those FN plate) so more or less u have to spend some money on changing parts not to mention that pgm3 have more than 10yrs of history... sorry if i am abit harsh on answering ur qns. once again no offences :cheeky:

MC21: I get your point, don't worry, I'm not offended...cos I'm aware that some people don't take prevention from wet weather ie do not cover the bike when it rains...like the previous owner of my TZRR doesn't cover it so many parts tend to get damaged from rain. Also, some people tend to ram their engine so tend to stress the bike too much. That's why I take extra care of my bike and keep it covered whenever I park it.

Anyhow thanks alot for explaining, MC21! I'm not offended to the least :thumb:

from wat i heard last time, pgm 3 does have higher top than pgm 4 but very slow to gain that..some sort like a lag after u hit certain speed...
