What engine oil are more suitable for cruisers

Can all cruiser khakis share what brand engine oil you using? Currently, i am using honda i vtec engine oil 5-40w (fully syn) for my shadow. Its manufactured for honda cars i think. Been using it for past 2000km and im gonna stick with at till abt 6000 - 8000 km before changing back to a thicker oil. maybe 20-50w Pros: Increased pick up, bike feels a little lighter and shorter bike warm up time. Feel more powerful and nice rev. Cons: Slight increase in engine noisy and vibration. Engine abit hotter initially.
