Blinking Brake Light

Hi,

Would like to ask how to make my brake light of the rear box blinked when i brake?

 

so as to catch attendion of the vehicle behine me...

 

anyone know how to do that?

Juz tap the wire of yr rear brake light(box) to the tail brake light (got 3wires try & error).

Add a signal relay to ur box brake light, u must know the wire to connect.

just got a GIVI E33 box ...its a no stop light model..so can i buy a brake light package or something so i can hav brake lights on my box?

seen this item posted in classified ads in thos forum some time back

the asking price was something like $30

maybe the GIVI agents will carry the item?

 

to me the price of the kit is quite abit of turn off

enquired abt the price of fixing a single light bulb into the red color part of the box cover

was quoted RM$25 which i also feel is quite expensive

haha

imagine one bulb cost like $1 (RM$2) only

 

cheapest solution for 3rd brake light for me so far = fix red color LEDs at number plate that lights up together w/ brakelight

price = RM$20

think can be bought cheaper in SG

err its not a single bulb on the red part of the box...the original givi stoplight kit is a stripe of leds...

 

i nid to know where to buy them...ask ahboy already they don sell it..

Go to electronic hobby shop for DIY kits. Sim Lim Tower (not Square) has a few shops and 1 in Rochor Centre. The best i have come across in my search is this MAxxTronic unit that is already assembled. It is robustly designed with a heat sink and rated for 15A DC. Install in series with your third brake light, you can modulate the flashing speed as well. I have not used it but bought it for a friend who used it as part of a remote flashing warning beacon for vehicle breakdown.

Go to any car zhng shop and buy cheapo LED/bulb 3rd brake light, will a little weather proofing, imagination u can mount a 3rd flashing brake light on your bike

bro save the hassle, buy the ready made relay blinker at sim lim 3rd storey, cost $20 can adjust the speed of the blink too. 12vdc tap to the controller and output to ur LED...SELLIN AT &5 the 3 leds one.
