since u going in for the trip in end of nov, i think is better for you to try out some local offroad riding.... maybe u can join some of the dirt rider for some nearby ride, to test whether u like dirt riding anot first...

offroad riding is very diff from on the road riding, plus u try to do it oversea,

 

anyway over there all u need is money.....

 

i have a few friend who just came back from there for bike touring(rented XR250),

 

maybe they can give u some info...

isnt it the same everywhere.. money talks.. :p

 

well yeah the sites i found online usually offers xr250- helmet gloves tolls fuels on route maintenance bla bla the basic works.. price ranged between US$ 125 upwards.

 

about liking it or not, this is the whole point of going aint it. just that i choose to go to the one in cambodia (since im going there anyway)

 

and some info would be nice~~~

haha.. ceeeh... i thouhgt soooo drama...

 

anyway in conclusion, i think.. when im there i will go and search literally the available tours and join whichever that seems most appealing or ones that the locals would recommend etc. im pretty good at going around finding the best deals.

 

so dun worry guys. im pretty sure i can pull it thru. :p haha.. im hopin i come back with some bruises and cuts (for memory sake :p)

i saw all the pictures from ur link and omg its so0o0ooo exciting!! this is crazy! i am sooo excited...!!!!!! haha.. ( ok ok chill.. ) i like the one on the bridge best. that must've gotten ur adrenalin pumping real crazy.

i dunno about anyone planning anything.

 

but come come join me!!!!! theres a loong weekend on the 27th - 29th November...!! we can just meet up there and go for the 2 days one night trip ( i will be there for 2 weeks) and then u can go back :p

 

hmmm.. this is phonm penh right. guess i have to change my destination - instead of siem reap.

Hmmm... Tis gerl really into dirt riding huh? Y not ride ur Z all the way up north? Our Z can do a lil' bit of off-roads too(plus the fact tat I'm too short for any REAL dirt bike! )! Tried it alrdy and yeah, I'm also interested in exploring Cambodia!!! Looks fun from all the pics posted here... :)

come on syamitomo.. u know the condition of my bike. how far can it possible go. i dunthink i have the motivation to ride out so far. id probably get bored and hitch a ride :p

 

and wouldnt say im "into dirt riding" im at the point to "try it out" . no way will my parent approve of al these bike ativities. but when im abroad, hell i can do what i want!!!! :p

Hmmm... True wat u said... BUT tat's the beauty of it all! The challenge of whether ur Z can reach ther in one peace and u battling ur boredom in tat long haul trip...:faint:

 

Hey I'm into tryin out dirt bike too. But I'm scared I'm too short for one! Haha... But nevertheless, I'm interested. Given tat I got the time, money and not to mention green light from my wifey, I guess I'm in ur pending list for goin to Cambodia!!! :thumb:

syamitomo i suggest u bring ur wife, and i will request that they put up a basket upfront so u can put ur baby in it. dun worry with all that weight on the dirt bike- ur feet wil be able to touch the ground... :p

 

having said that, is there no single (good looking good natured ) available guys that wanna come along instead!! :p hahahhaa
