The chances of rain in the early morning is high so we might just delay to 9 AM if that happens or even cancel it if the weather is really ugly.

OK... session is on. Morning weather seems to be dry.... cloudy and cool but dry.

 

 

But be prepared to be caught in the rain in the afternoon.

That's the whole idea.. to have fun. To be able to ride fast on the track in a safe environment is certainly an eye opener.

 

I guess you realised that it is not easy to always maintain the same corner linings... but with practice.. it will become easy.

 

The trick to fast lap times is being consistently smooth on the proper linings through the corners and not about blasting down the straights. This fact holds true for any track you may go to.

 

Actually I am sorry I didn't spend much time coaching you... had to test out the little Y125Z which ended up having its gearbox replaced.

 

A piece of the third gear broke off inside the gearbox train and jammed the bike in 3rd gear at the track this morning.

 

The bike now has a new close ratio race gearbox and was overhauled in 4 hours by Boy Kallang... and we are practising tomorrow morning.
