Clean / Polish Exhaust Header

Is it possible to bring back the shine on exhaust header ???

 

I heard if buy new one, must put oil, then let it heat up ..

but if now already like black black, can still polish?

 

Can bring to shop to 'chrome' or do something to make it shine like new ???

nvr did it or knew anyone did it. i polished and maintained it when shiny.

I heard that autosol will scratch the surface. This means that next time will rust badly.

what material is your header? if its stainless steel its possible to polish it to shine again.. use metal polish and not autosol or brasso..

I tot so too.. But my neighbour polish the headers for his RT1200 every week,they still look like a month old even tho his bike is 2year old now..
