Although Im still checking the market price but I am indeed very interested in Fazer! Black or bumble bee color.

Dont worry, my age must be in the safe zone as far as insurance concerns (but Im not apek, K?)

hey guys... do u feel the engine get damm hot when moving. Especially at the thighs. Any idea how to minimise it?

Well... i am either thinkin of riding a more comfortable bike or gettin a car. My wife dont really like the bike anyway. So how did u manage to sell yr bike? i mean yr fazer 600?

Fazer sitting position already considered as 'comfy'... what you changing to? ST or Goldwing type?

I just got the bike from kokheng

 

Didn't expect it to be hotter than my previous blackbird!

 

Also I notice wave of small vibrations just below my groin area during ride.

I only just started to ride the fazer, so can't really compare alot.

 

Actually its alot of difference as fazer and BB belongs 2 diff category.

 

Street riding

BB corners and accelerate better. Brakes feels the same if not slightly better than the Fazer.

Fazer is lighter, better comfort, its a road bike with massive power packed inside.

 

No chance to tour the fazer yet...but akan datang... wohooo!!

I bought from kokheng78 for 13k with touring windscreen, 2 side boxes, side box bracket and top box bracket and baseplate, bellypan and mini side fairings. His bike got lotsa accessories, good for touring. hehe

Oh yuh, regarding touring on this bike. Its quite high fuel consumption.

 

On local ride I can do about 17-18km/litre, but for touring I can only do about 12km/litre. Average speed about 180-200km/h. It might do better if the average speed is lower.

 

But with the touring windscreen, I don't even need to hunch my back when doing 200-230km/h. Which is very comfortable.

 

On 6th gear the bike is still powerful for pulls to overtake, very impressive. Mid range is simply awesome..

 

Tried to hit top speed but about 250km/h its virtually crawling, but hey its not a supersport/hypersports so cannot expect it to hit 300km/h, 250km/h is already very fast for the fazer on my own opinion.

 

For corners, its stock foot pegs are pretty low, so its not really advisable to corner real low with stock pegs if you're interested for a track day.

 

The stock end can is pretty quiet, its good if there's extra dough for a aftermarket to boost the sound and make the bike fiercer overall

 

I thing I dislike is the starting of this bike. Its unlike Super4s where you press the ignition, it cranks for about 1-2 seconds and the engine roars into life. The fazer needs more than 3 seconds of cranks with a twist of the trottle before it rises from the dead.

 

Anyone who has a Fazer in mind, I would dare to say you're making the right choice. :D
