Looks like a lot of people went across the causeway on fri... met x 00 x at pagoh r&r... I went up to Fraser's hill again with Gabriel... Second trip up there in the last two weeks....nice twisties as usual.

 

So when are the rest game for a trip filled with twisties???

 

Just make sure ur tires are up to it... or you'll end up not really enjoying yourself... ask botakche... he knows exactly wat i mean.

 

Changed my new BT012ss just one month ago... already hald gone liao... Woohoo...fast... but sticks to the ground man!

Hi guys, I'm back as well. Looks like Moka made a round trip , and an exciting one it seems. Anyway, this is the first time I'd rode up north with my Fazer, seems that there are some issue with the bike that I would like to highlight to you guys in which I experienced first hand, Pls feel free to comment as well as I believed that we are all here to share our knowledge on our beloved Fazer. Without furter adue,

 

Wobbling effect :

 

1. With 2 side boxes + top box on, the bike will start to wobble at around 210 km/h . (of course its not encouraged to go so fast, but just a thought)

 

2. With Top box alone , no wobbling effect felt even up to 240km/h.

 

3. Normal riding speed (around 70 km/h), the head will wobble when you go Free Hands.

 

 

Any other reports ....

 

1. Night travelling -- not recomended but if must, thenn pls ride safely as the headlights of oncoming traffic can be blinding (I was forced to use Hi-Beam on certain occasion so that I can make out the curvature of the roads)

 

2. ..............will add more when I remember them.

Chain slapping is very prominent at low speeeds, but not at high speed, so its a compromise, i guess...

 

No box...YET... so no wories.. heheh..

 

Yes, i had a fun ride up north this time.. hahah... krusers are going up to frasers in june... prob you guys might be interested...

 

I'll prob be trying for a weekend blast all the way to peneng for lunch at the end of the month if time allows and if for kakis... let me know, ya.. and of course, not forgetting the Labour day mersing trip...

Usually OEM chain wont snapped

easily. Riding fast at nite is dangerous

coz you never know how is the road

condition ahead.
