They did not really break down the price. But below is my guess :

 

Bike : 12,500

GST (4%) : 500

Insurance : 998

COE : 300

Box + Bracket : 300

 

They got their bike from Hong Leong. Quite a good deal as the last time I went to Hong Leong they quoted me 14.7k without the box!!

Yep mine's a Silver color. Not many colors to choose from. Only 3 I think (red, blue and silver). Don't they they have a 600 version in gsxxer's bumblebee color.

 

As for Africa Twin and Fazer, personally I prefer a Fazer coz it's lighter and has more power. (95bhp compared to AT's 59bhp). Africa twin is also quite tall and heavy and I am not a big person.. so if fall die cannot pick up.

 

An Africa Twin is as heavy as a Fazer1000 but the power output is half of a Fazer1000.

 

BTW you are the one who convince me to get a Fazer instead of a TMAX. Why the sudden change of mind? Don't you want to be a fazerer..

 

Anyway take your time to choose. As long as you are happy with the bike that you bought.

 

Think this week is going to be the longest week of my live. Can't wait to get my Fazer on Satuday.

i would love to a fazerer.... but there r others factors i am considering..

 

i would love to have the 95bhp from the fazer.... but i love african twin(just lke the GS BMW)always seem to be the bike that i dream of(becos it majestic desert enduro engine,hit in guniess world record with over 10000km in a trip... kekeke)

 

In short i would love to own a fazer becos of it power n african twin becs of it enduro engine. but just too bad i need to decide on one.. and i am still deciding... budget is also another factor cos i am not earning much....

 

FZ600 = 14.3k

AT 750 = 18k

i also bought my fazer600 just now but can only collect my bike next friday or saturday.(from hong leong) got a blue color one.

Actually want to buy 600 ...than saw the fazer 1000 inside the show room...shiok man...but tell myself cannot ....too XXX....$18000 leh!!...$4000 more

when i compare the fazer 600 from the 1000 one....both r totally different.the shape of engine...fairing...fork...etc...

vfr the price a bit too high and some more its v4 engine. i'm looking for something i can go like 18-19km/L. heard that the undersit exhuast gets hot on the butt. somemore full fairing then insurance also more. but vfr is still under my consideration.

anyway, the fz600, i was using it at comfort driving centre, noticed one of the bikes, mileage only 50km, already had electronic problems, the tacho and speedo, would go on and off, maybe ecu problem? dunno. but after a few times, the bike went dead, cant even start.

Frankly speakin... I would suggest u buyin a Fazer 1000 if u are interested in touring. Fazer 6 is cheap but lack of power.... as for a second hand ones... quite hard lah... handling wise.. Fazer 1000 is still better and looks better too... especially the tail light.. Btw i might be sellin my FAzer 1000....

my bike cool, is cheap in maintaince and its fun in Singapore. i wanna go further up north i need a more relaiable long distance bike. i wish i can keep 2 but than again i can't.

fjr too expensive, st11 too old for me, dv like no power.
