You'd better get a new one. Defaced passports potentially can cause you a sh!t load of problems that is totally not worth it.

A passport is a complete document by itself, not just the identification page.

Should Be No Problem Lehh. Almost All My Passports Got Kena Rain Before & Nothing Happen. The Custom Will Ask Me What Happened Then I Say Ah On The Way To Custom Suddenly Rain Heavily. No Time To Take Out Passport And Keep It Dry. Then Just Apologise Afew Times Then You Are Done.

So The Next Time, Always Put Ur Passport In As Small Plastic Bag.

Try that when you are getting into another country & see if its that easy to get off. Your risk.

My previous non-biometric passport also got soaked before and caused a lot of problems, especially in Hong Kong. I got through after they verified my Singapore Identity Card. A bit of a hassle. Just as well that passport was expiring, so I got my current one and I'm looking after it very carefully
