Failure to go for Bike Inspection.

Hi everyone! Need ur help on this issue here. My friend bike is suppose to go for LTA inspection on Sept 09 and till today the bike still havent gone for one. Reasons being that he was enlisted for NS on Sept 09 and then was in ICU due to accident recently. The bike has not been used since he was enlisted for NS(parked in MSCP).The road tax and insurance all have expired. Now LTA just gave him a letter to go to Court this March regarding the inspection case. So wat should he do now? can he appeal to LTA? if not anybody knows what the fine will be?

Nv been heard of this kind of situation before...

 

I guess his parents should bring documents stating the duration that he is in icu to lta..

Ask ur friend's parents or relative to go to LTA & appeal to them on this issue. LTA will entertain case per case.

Bring along doctor's letter that he is unable to ride or send the bike for inspection. Request to pay fine on the road tax & lay-up the bike till owner is ready to ride the bike, see if it is possible not to attend court.
