Dear Bros,

I am new to ST11 and I need some of your professional advice. The biting point of my ST11 is abit too far and I would like to adjust it. Meaning to say, as of now, I need to let go alot of my clutch before it reaches biting point. I would like to adjust it so that I dont have to let go so much but I realised that there is no knob for me to adjust (or maybe I dont knoe how to).

I was told that ST11 does not come with adjustable clutch and I will have to change the clutch lever to those adjustable type if I want. Is that true? If so, then where do I get it and how much will it cost?

Now its quite tiring for me to ride as I am quite small built and my palm is not that big.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Terence,

yes, I just got my ST. Thanks for the viewing the other time. My clutch now quite far and hard. I remember my other bike can be adjusted so I thought this can be adjusted as well. Hmmm....

hi guys. my st 1100, 2001 version has abit of misfiring issue. when idling, i throttle, once in awhile will have a sparking kind of sound, like "piak piak". a few ppl have heard n most say its misfiring. i changed spark plugs already. also checked the spark plugs also, after using for like a month. no problems/issues as seen from the spark plug. so most likely it is some carb tuning issue.

ah chong from planet says its normal, n no problem. i know it is fine, but then most say it cause abit of increase in petrol consumption. my consumption is about 15km/l. so i guess it really could be better. anyone know if i can diy n tune? or bring to gopa or rosli or bikeworks?

Bro,

Very high chance r ur intake manifolds cracked due to ageing, resulting to too much air sipping into engine during combustion causing too lean air fuel mixture therefore backfiring boobs. Intake manifolds r the 4pc a set of rubber clamp to hold the carburetor onto engine.

Can be easily DIY with simple tools & some grease.
