Dr Guru, first of all welcome to ST club. I will try best of my knowledge to answer you question:

What is the exact litre for ST11 and the mileage a full tank can go ?

Full tank capacity is 28litre including 5litre reserve, mileage depends on riding habit, as for me is about 18km/litre and that is because 75% of my ride is travel AYE/ECP from West to East.

How much does the shaft belt cost ?

Final drive for ST is drive shaft - no belt.

Do i need to pour any lube or oil to prolong the belt?

Shaft oil change is recommended at every 38,400km or every three years. Oil type SAE 80 gear oil but only SAE 90 is available here (if I recall correctly). Amount require is 150cc or fill to lower edge of hole.

any good windshield to intro which cover my whole face from wind? Im 1.75m

I fell stock screen is a little noisy, I was recommeded MRA screen and I like it. They have defferent height for individual needs

how many of Engine oil do i need along with oil filter ?

EO viscosity SAE 10W40, amount needed for Oil and filter change is 3.7litre.

what are the most common wear and tear things for ST11 ?

The only problem I ever encounter so far is fuel tap or some call it fuel choke, got it change and was told that this is common problem.

tyre intro for rear and front ?

I was told Michellin Macadam got very good mileage and is value for money. But can't find them. Changed Bridgstone B020 f&r recently and I love it,

Any superb headlight for NSHW use?

I am using stock light, so I can't help you on this.

where can i get those box cusion for pillion to rest on?

I am using Honda backrest, no top box, can't help you on this either.

Can i fit full face on my both side box? stock box..

Yes.

Anything i need to look out ,beware or aware of bros?

The weight of the bike. I drop it twice while trying to push backward during parking when I first got mine. Luckily the design of the bike (wing) save bodyworks.

Hope the above answers help.

Hi Dr.Guru...

I am no guru, all the ST bros here knows that but i try to give as much as i can

What is the exact litre for ST11 and the mileage a full tank can go ?

Exact = 28 litres... depending on your riding habits and travelling route.

Highway, expressway, NSHW = more milleage

City, traffic light many many = consume more lor

For me, more city riding so about 17km / litre

How much does the shaft belt cost ?

Got shaft belt meh.... shaft oil do regular changes as mentioned in manual

Do i need to pour any lube or oil to prolong the belt?

Make sure no leak and do regular check

any good windshield to intro which cover my whole face from wind? Im 1.75m

Most commonly used is MRA, myself using a GIVI with 4" higher

(but i dont really like it cos sleeves always get wet)

how many of Engine oil do i need along with oil filter ?

3.7litres

what are the most common wear and tear things for ST11 ?

I would say is Brake pads .... maybe tires if u travel a lot

tyre intro for rear and front ?

Michillin Magadam... cheap and use long long

Any superb headlight for NSHW use?

Use stock good enough... others will take more currents(i think)

where can i get those box cusion for pillion to rest on ?

Anywhere also have de... LAB or even chong Aik... depending on your model

Can i fit full face on my both side box? stock box..

full face .... easy easy (put some cushions inside to minimise scatches and knocks when riding with FF inside

Anything i need to look out ,beware or aware of bros?

Look out for any leaks for Fork seals, radiator... no matter what... its still a second hand bike...

Good luck & happy riding the beaST...

what are the most common wear and tear things for ST11 ?1- The only problem I ever encounter so far is fuel tap or some call it 'auto fuel cork', got it change and was told that this is common problem.

2 - other than general servicing, tires & brake pads is the timing belt. it is subjected to be replace before it mileage up to 150,000km but it has to be inspected at around 100,000km. mine was in reasonably good condition when it was inspected at 102,000km at the point of 15mths old, got it replaced only less than $200(all-in), I waited only 4hrs for it to be done at workshop.

3 - leaking cam cover gaskets due to extensive use, can be replaced by DIYing costing less than $50(both sides).

4 - other than that r steering cone, wheel bearing, & etc... sh*t seldom happen but it does sometime due to the age at point of time. ;)

Anything i need to look out ,beware or aware of bros?

Look out for any leaks for Fork seals, radiator... no matter what... its still a second hand bike...

watch out for coolant hoses, reservior tube, radiator cap & radiator to maintain this machine's durablity.

make sure battery is not sulphated(bloated or fat), sulphated battery wont retain charged, it will damaged alternator's shelf life during persistance riding. preventive maintenance is reccommended to inspect voltage stability & have it charge it periodically if u r not riding it frequently, & ensure it's terminal r properly intacted.

Any superb headlight for NSHW use?

I am using stock light, so I can't help you on this.

original Honda stock light will be good for NSHW use, most after market lights wont provide u sufficient brightness during nite riding in NSHW especially if u r riding during wet nites....

DR Guru,

the location of LC food court is along Tg Katong road, the former Tg Katong Tech Sch, the sighting of STs cant be miss easily.

most vivid ST1100 owners r there weekly Wed nite, u should be able to learn 'real life' handling experience from anyone of us. ;)

fyi, u r not the only newbie visiting us, most newbie we spoken to turned to ST owners in short time. ;)

Hi Bros!

Just got back from Fraser Hill and KL. First time go tuoring with the new bike. The weight really scares me man, especially when going around corners uphill. Only through the highways I dare to go 140-180kmh. But one thing I noticed, when going above 160, the bike start to vibrate already. Dunno whether its the bike or the road surface...

Anyway I heard some seasoned ST riders can cruise above 2ookmh. That's for real is it?

I think trembling is the right word. Felt like the wind about to blow me off the road. Maybe becoz I set my windshield too high

Hi Dr Guru...

Most of the owners who have their US version may have upgraded to a Pan Euro version. The stages of ST11 goes as St11 US model>Pan European >STX the current one.Pan Euro has a few more added features to the ST11 US version such as higher amp...etc.Colour of bike also may give you a rough indication on which series it is beside the obvious Pan Euro embossed logo.Generally the bike is a problem free bike but it all depends on the past history.Maybe what you can do is do a servicing such as oil change,plugs..shaft oil..etc and have your bearing checks. The strong vibration could be due to the steering cone or the wheel bearings.Maybe can wait out for more ans from other riders...cheers!:faint:

Hmm.... i have yet to check on my front rim but will do so tomorrow , ok my

bike's colour is blue while the pan-european logo is more to the front on both side

of my fairing, the vibration and shaky part is when i travel slow as in 30-45km/h

anything more then that is ok most to most shake abit  thanks for the info

bro Ckooky :thumb: , one think funny is that my friends ST11 is much much more

quiet then mine?? does this show that its a diff model ? thanks .
