hi there, i riding SP. When i am in with gear 2 or 3. the rpm goes up damn fast, and the speed is still low. Like 20-40km/hr , the rpm already hitting 5 or 6?

anyone knows why? and the sound is damn noisy. like "tak tak tak" hard to go slow.

worn clutchplates may be the answer...if not the rings/piston is the next..imho

if the bike is ridden hard.in he past..take alook at the crankshaft man...

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time:dot:

it's the clutch housing.

there r steel rivets mounting the shaft sleeve n clutch housing together.

it's loose now tat's why it is make noise.

go find a shop whom can do a good job replacing those steel rivets.

most shop will just hammer it back n the same problem will return.

erm i dun understand. can make it simpler?

Your clutch housing is loose. One option if you do not want to replace the housing is to tack weld the edges like what my mechanic did to my race Y125Z.

Those steel rivets as mentioned by stsoh do not normally give way... the holes in the housing which the rivets go through have elongated. This happens when you like to do pickup all the time like starting off the grid in a race.

Nothing to do with cranshaft, piston or piston rings.
