Thanks...we had a blast...but the ride back...mother nature was unkind...it was raining from the bottom of Cameron Highlands,all the way to Melaka,and all the way back till lima kedai toll...

 

very tiring...but a memorable trip...we are planning to go again somewher in April or May...

The bill is on Jimmy as promised!!

The journey...to Cameron Highlands.

 

The guys have arrived the evening before me.I and wifey left GP around 2.50am.Arrived at Tapah around 7am.The ride from GP to Tapah,abit scary.The fog,around 3.45am,and 6.30am,is nightmare....

The TDM did superbly great on speed with the alu cases this time.Last year i did Phuket,it was hell...i can't go above 150km/hr due to headshake wobbling front end.But after i did the fork oil change,forkseal,front wheel bearings,and added bar ends on the handlebar which i didnt do during the phuket ride,now the TDM able to ride to 185km/hr without much of a problem...

This time,the comfortable cruise speed is 140-160km/hr with speed at time slightly above 180km/hr.So,the wobbly is not to front DS tyre,or alu cases..

 

Here,at abot 7.30am at the foot of Tapah.

I decided not to take Alvin's route which to ride 46km after Tapah petrol station to exit Simpang Pulai and go towards Brinchang.

As i have studied the map earlier at home,i see that going through Tapah,and exited just few kilomtres to go by Tanah Rata then up to Brinchang is even shorter route.So with the aid of a friend's GPS...it helps..Very scenic ride up during the sunrise.but alot if twisty hillclimb.But,it was all worth it.

I meet up with the guys at Brinchang when they all just ready for breakfast.

After breakfast,i headed back to the lodge for shower and for 2hrs hours.

Woke up at around 3pm,and in time for a birthday cake ceremony..Din's gf birthday.

We headed town,and somehow throw lives away on a crazy bus ride up and down the twisty mountain.

It was chilling...with temperature below 20deg...with smokes coming from out mouth as we speak,spectacular view just out of the bus window.

Although we were con with the bus ticket,supposedly RM0.50 per head,somehow we were charged RM2.50per head.However,we are still happy and excited and even made some friends in the bus which they were very noisy and irritating at 1st.

Alvin's(vtrfirestorm) found a best friend,and becomes the idol of the 4girls..

However,their hopes shattered after learning Alvin is married with a kid.

And better hurry back down to catch the last bus of the day which is at 6.15pm, to bring us back to our townstay .

We somehow,managed to hijack this jeep just incase the bus did'nt turn up.

And after this photo was taken,we refuelled at nearby petrol kiosk,and continued battling the heavy thunderstorm at NSH for about 225km to reach GP at speed of 140-170km/hr...madness...

and since you,ans and mirza garment servant,you guys have to pay....very cheap rates for garment servant...$30 per nite leh...we paid $75 pernite becoz we normal people...

The overall trip is freeking WET!!! but the company i have is awesome!!!!

Way too awesome...... wouldn't wat to trade it with anything in the world!!!

Yeah, is really fun & full of funny stuff for us to laugh at....

As all of then, including me, is so super 'anything'... we dont really need to brainstorm for where to go, when to stop or even wat to eat.....:angel:

Is those kind of trip mates 'make from hel... Ooopsss is heaven :angel:

 

A.J did u snap as doing the up hill climb to 'our villa'??? Phew a 10min workout for our legs & EYES!!! :faint:

 

Well all the pixs took by A.J is really really award wining, the actually thing is way much better, jz image tat is so gd tat A.J wanted to come back while he jz rch!!!!!!!

 

Mother nature is indeed unkind but our vibes r too high to be wash-off.

yes...almost perfect trip minus the freakin rain...and plus all of you joining the ride and we all have the whole bungalow to the whole TDM gang would be simply fabulous...with Ansley,pbs and all of yah....so are you coming with me the next time round?

anyways...i must credit this guy lah...you have my respect...The not ordinary "Beng"....

He withstand the cold,chilling never ending rain for more than about 600km which i would guarantee most of you would give up and stop for shelter...The rain,is very bad that you visibility is close to 20% only and not forgetting the winds....and on top of that,he brave the storm to buy his wife favourite chicken rice all the way at Malacca....despite the rain...now,how many of us would do that eh?hmm.....:dozed:
