Motor bumped onto Car slightly: HELP

Hi, Just now along Uppper Bukit Timah Road, I skid abit and banged into this Mercedes infront of me. The driver came out and we negotiated. It was a slight scratch mark on the Car's rear bumper and we just exchanged phone numbers and car license plates, no pictures were taken.

 

What we came to a conclusion is that he goes and spray he's car(Actually he's company's car) and he gives me the bill and I just pay for it.

 

My bike's front fender's paint is scratched abit.

 

Anyone can advise on the situation?

Never take pic? All I can say driver can have all sorts of imagination. Good luck to you. Hope the guy is honest.

should have took a pic. if not he can change a whole bumper... thousands...

also either he got something up his sleeves like change whole bumper + spray paint...

or charge u more money to spay off the effected area.. .

I'm ok. I just got out of camp, so can't have a camera phone. But from the way it sounds, it seems like he's ok. It's a company car. I'll get to know the amount later.

 

And I'm ok, bike did not fall or something, just bang and tilted slighted only.

Don't worry, whats done is done. You have to just wait for the recepit or bill to pay. Not all motorist is unreasonable. Maybe you can call him and find out which workshop and pay to the shop directly. Just my opinion. But I will chose to let him settle as if the shop know, they might jack up the price as someone else is paying.

ask for the receipt? get the shop to list out the price/ check with them what was done?

wah same incident as me except i banged a bmw.. i asked to settle it and asked for compensation as my engine cover was leaking oil and footrest was broken.. When i told him about the price he was shocked and wanted to settle by insurance and say he was not in the wrong...

 

HAHA.. All i asked for is 600 bucks.. What is that to a bmw.. My girl friend was also hurt but i was willing to pay for the medical.. So end up i claim more than 16k from what i see the report from the shop.. LOL ... Pity that guy..

Your story sounds so good. Lucky mine no one was hurt. And am still waiting for the guy to get back. Sounds like the person who collides from the back is always in the wrong.

Pity that guy for being silly. Can drive BMW do not know simple math and worst do not want pay only $600 for your damages with injuries.

 

Yet again, am glad you and your gf are fine because in an accident be it it the driver fault, we are always the one facing the danger.

he says the cost to do that will cost about 400, and he sharing cost with me dunno zhun anot..

 

any bros can advice on the real cost, no pictures sorry, too stun should be a toyota wish or sth.

did he take pictures? u should report to ur insurance company first just in case he played punk.

 

it depends on what he want to do. respray and knock bk bumper? if repsraying, the diff type of paint aso have diff cost. or he changing the whole bumper?

 

do check with him what he intent to do with the repair and u go check it out urself in case he parang you.

i last time got enocunter this before and the driver say respray only. i go and checked myself and cost about 200 only. but the driver fllece me say 500. i ask him go and claim if he can.

 

im not sure about the knocking bk of bumper though.
