Wat's the cheapest brand n price for digital SLR camera?

ok, $$ that i put up here is juz a guide, new vs 2H. may varies, especially 2H.

D70 - $2.1K / ?? (launched not long, ppl may not sell so soon)

300D - $1.8K / $1.3-1.5K

10D (body only) - $2.5K / $1.5-$2.0K (2H $ drop so much, worth buying)

20D - do not buy unless u hv too much $$ to spend (for newbie only)

my suggestion is to buy a camera tat suits your needs and budget, so u are no wrong with either brand. it is the photographer that take good photos, not the cam.

lastly, must allocate some $$ for extra batts, CF cards, bags, flash, ...... list goes on and on like no full stop.

hope it helps.

scud ... here r a few comments

- horizon(not me!) is slanted

- building is falling back. could have tilt down the cam more to show more of the reflection of water and lesser of the sky.

just my 2c comments

Horizoner, thanks for your comments.

i did take some test shots b4 the fw to check for best setting + composition, but i cant help it interm of slanted horizon. it was actually the bending of the river bank, unless i go to the other side.....:(

slanted building can PS, but has no time. will try if i have time.

yeah u r rite, try to get the fw as reflection in the water next time.

scud: actually for "falling buildings", i will take with a wider angle even though the composition is out, so that the buildings r standing straight. Then crop in PS to improve the composition. [/b]

will do some 'magic' before posting later today when i get home.
