OK, here is my final submission to theme titled Singapore Idol.

it was actually quite difficult to get inspiration for this theme, came across my mind were singaporepools, money, streets performers... ... ... ghee... me *brain dead*

hope you enjoyed. it was an awesome experience, get to shoot and can only submit 1 photo for each theme. besides that, u need to be back before they announce next theme, u need to figure out where is the best place to get best photo to suit the theme.

 

btw, all my photos posted here (for photomarathon04) did not went tru photoshop except resized and include my signature.

my mum not very good in photography lah but she feels that the a95 is easy to use lah. form some of the pic can go to mum photo upload to view it lor... but if the phto not take nicely please dun laugh as my mum 1st time using the camera.

they shortlist 10 photos from each theme. 4 of them won prizes.

so, there will be 30 shortlisted for the grand prize.

my island life was shortlisted for grand prize......but chances are slim.

well, according to ST Digital Life (pg 32) dated Oct 19, 2004, stated that ...

30 shortlisted photos will be displayed at Heeren Atrium (Ochard Rd) from Oct 28 till Nov 4.

Anyone has tried takin photos at a track?

Pics of bikes leaning in the corners??

I am interested to know if the tracks in Mal. allows photographers into areas for photography? Somewhere near the corners?

Anywhere I can find out more info from?

i never take photos from a race track before.

but for sure u can take from where u are seated.

btw, u really need a long zoom lens to capture the actions.

i think u are not allowed to go in to the pit, unless u have the pass (or from media).

think at least 300mm

n heavily cropped

 

went to sepang with ard 199.5mm (105mm with 1.9x TC)..3MP picture..cropped till ard 1200 by 800...the bike still looks like a small fly

hmm.. it has been sometime since my last post here.

anyway, i juz went to motorshow today, took 422 pics.

cars, babes and bikes... harley, yamaha, honda.

posting of photos from motorshow will be delayed as i'm very tide up till end of this month.

 

hope to see some of the pixs u guys got from motorshow.

set to bulb, press shutter release and blow using blower.

make sure batt fully charge.

blow at an angle to the ccd. fat dirt is able to be blown away.

else bring to service center.

hi all, juz to share the sunrise photo (but it sure looks like sunset, LOL).

clouds were not as nice as i wanted, but hey, it is nature (cant control by human).

hi, i'm interested to get the D70. may i know what are the recommended places where i can get the D70 at $1700? is the courts promo in the papers good? they selling $1988 including 1GB CF, tripod, bag and some training on photoshop?

But if by instalments ... then u can go to courts loh ..

And insist on taking 1 gb lexar 80x card ..

hey, maybe we can gather all who are interested to take pics at the track or interested to be taken on the track and go for a photography practice session at the track?
