how come challenging?

i no tripod so won't b bringing

Challenging as you got a fixed focal length.. u cant zoom it really test your creativity.

to use handheld to take firework is a challenge as camera shake will occur. due to the long exposure time.

i'll use manual zoom. my legs :cheeky:

hopefully not ur center leg become the monopod hor!! hahaha

anyway nice pics you have in ur portfolio..

i bought a 2nd hand kata 3n1 20 with tripod holder..

it fits perfectly in my 42l rear box and as for the tripod i will just use bicycle hook to secure it to my back rest..

to walk around i will just carry the bag and secure the tripod to my bag

the remote is very very small..

Bag with Tripod holder

not necessary need to have long exposure time for fireworks unless u want multiple exposures shots.

also depends on how fireworks are fired, good luck!

you mean u can't see the light streaks with naked eye?

short exposure makes thin streaks, longer exposure will have thicker streaks

a problem with longer exposure is if fireworks appear close to each other within the exposure time, you end up with big ball of light instead  (ok so here is where the black card & keen eye comes in)
