This is my FZ1S 09' ABS with GIVI E52 & V35.

I have been using GIVI panniers for the last 20 years already, I dropped my previous bikes several times but the panniers still intact & without dent, thus i find it very trusty & bullet proof. I truely recommend it.

These panniers are easy to mount & remove. The aerodynamic drag is smoother & also look better on my bike. The E52 top pannier can consume 2 full face helmets. The V35 only 1 Arai full face (but not Shoei or Carlsberg).

I went to Mah Pte Ltd, quoted me including the mounting racks & plates normal price is $1800++ not including GST. As i bought my bike from there a 10% discount is given thus quoted $1750.00 (without pillion back rest). I never expect to be so expensive so went to LAB, i paid for total $1400.00 (with pillion back rest). As usual i have to wait for 6 hours the LAB mechanic to get everything installed (may be cos mine is more troublesome to install).

Many riders think that the red lens on the back of the case is actually a reflector? Think again! It's just a piece of non-reflective red-tinted plastic! I have custom-cut piece of automotive-grade 3M Scotchlite reflective sheeting under the original red lens. Need a bit of art & craft skill & stable hand to cut it to shape especially the middle part on top of the key mount of the E52. Couple of times i still need my wife's delicate hand to shape it. Hahaha... a woman hand sometimes can satisfied a man better then his owe......

To compliment the touring feel of it, i have also installed a GenMar handle-bar riser, front fender Yamaha extender, Bagster tank cover, Rifle high screen & Phamton pillion foot rest. Though these items may not gives the original sporty look & feel of a original Fazer. To many my set up is very ugly. But each accessories has its effectiveness & practicability.

Cheers

bro where u gt the handle bar risers from and price wise?

I bought through their website http://www.zianet.com/GenMar/

At appx. S$120, quite good, less strain on the hand, less weight towards the front, wife can grab me from behind better, nearer to pillion.

However, you may want to try this http://www.roxspeedfx.com/cgi-bin/cart/showitems.cgi?subcat_id=268 , which i would like to if i have not purchase from GenMar.

miss the fazer.. Not really.. But i do miss riding a big CC bike.. Now my wait patiently on what available for 2010..

Anyway, do convey this message to the current owner.. "that fazer needs to go sawadee-land once a year or it will sulk badly.. it loves PTT petrol for snacks.".
