Me too... average FC about 17-18km/l. 18l of the tank (21l) can last me about a week. Heads up for the 3NCR needed too... About time to make the Birdy fly further a bit :cheeky: .

Mine is about 17 liters. 4 liters of reserve left which is good enough to last from the east side of Singapore to the 2nd link/causeway :cheeky: with more to go.

For those who haven't yet realise the stability and geometry of the Hayabusa, this might convince you.

I hit 250km/hr ydy with completely flat rear tyre. I was not aware that my tyre was punctured till I stoped and checked it. The bike was stady with small "waivie" moves on that speed. The bike is fitted with Micheli 2CT (front/rear).

Please do not be a hero and try this. I did it because I was not aware my rear tyre punctured. That shows the incredible stability of the bike and also the good quality of the tyre that it hold on the rim even was puctured.

Cheers

wuuuyoohh..is that why they recalled the tyre? but then the front tyre was recalled not the rear...

Hi Razin,

There was nothing wrong with the tyre, it was simply puctured. Could had happen to any tyre/bike.

What I was impressed with the bike was its stability even with puctured tyre. For the tyre I was impressed that stayed firm on the rim.

After I discovered the pucture I rode slowly to the nearest work shop abt 3-4km away.

Cheers

Busa's total capacity is 21L, 18L+3L. by right on papers, 3L is for reserve. however, this is not exactly accurate and usually the reserve light turns on when you still have 4L or so. :thumb:

no need full pump la. later hand cant control properly then all the petrol spill out then hurt your precious paint job. if only Busa got bigger tanks!

haha i think i will not do any such mod on the bike.

as this is a touring bike.

i would rather improve on the handling and think the power is juz nice really nt yet used to maintaining at high speed.

Hi guys, talking about FC, I would like to slide in a lil bit abt my bike's FC.

Its currently in the first stage of running in. I kept the RPM to below 4.5k. No throttle whacking or watsoever.. But it did reach 140km/h before gradually..

However, my best FC shown before was a mere 17km/l. With traffic jams it could get till 13.3km/l.

Now, is it a norm for a bike which is still running in to drink more petrol? Appreciate any advises from the senior falcons..
