Can i know what is yoshimura camshaft? What does it do?

is a so call gaint toothpick..

it shorten your busa engine life.. open ur valve port longer.. so dust N sand or even insects can goes in n damage ur piston..

pls pls.. don fix that! lolz...

is a must for a machine which require extra torque or so call pulling power.

Can i know where is e best bike shop for tuning and checking of my busa?

tuning either at Unity or Pleasure Motor where they have the Dyno machine. which is better i'm not too sure.

checking of your busa? wat do you want to check for? in my opinion few good mechanics will be the famous Meng Tong at Looi's Motor and Ah Jiang at HKL. hope these helps. can call me at 96391696. I'll be glad to answer your queries. :thumb:

Can i know what is yoshimura camshaft? What does it do?

as you can see from the picture Nok97 posted, it is a sugar cane for the beast within your bike to chew on! :cheeky:

basically, its something to improve the horsepower and torque of your lovely Falcon. but, it will be at the expense of your fuel economy.

the Yoshimura camshafts are proven to work well, but at a very high price. there's something else you can do to get nearly, if not the same, performance.

join us for our weekly kopi session and treat us some Thai-Gal....errrr... i mean Tiger :cheeky:.....errrr....no we cant drink and ride :nono:......errrr....just some soft drinks :dozed:will do la. then we can slowly slowly tell you. :thumb:

not all of us...

and most of the mods are not to increase yr top speed. its to improve torque and horse. and also not to improve in all areas. soem improve low end. some improve mid-range some improve top-end.

For K8 if the price is right. Not that I don't like my bike but I always wanted a bike with gear indicator. As you guessed it, not interest to put aftermarket gear indicator.

I'm "original" freak.

Max speed of stock bike is 300km/hr. YES your bike is capable to maintaining such speed, BUT there are not enough straight roads to maintain it for more than a few seconds. However there are plenty of places to maintain an average for 200-220km/hr. When it comes to modifications I'm very consern of the ability of the mechanics (not only those in Singapore) to fine tune the engine and the body of the bike. If you intent to run your bike on high speeds then it is advisable (to my opinion) to keep it stock. Pay extra attention to the tires and breaks. A stock bike is safer and last longer (always to my opinion). Main reason is that the factory that has produce it, has spend millions of dollars on its development, where the majority of mosifications are based on trial and error. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that all the modifications are not worth it but, I believe, most of them are.

Cheers

dun gan chiong :cheeky: you just got your Falcon not too long ago. slowly slowly then you will grasp the performance of your bike. then, slowly slowly, you will know wat to do and wat kind of set up you want. doesn't mean increasing the torque and horsepower is the only thing to do. its wat you want with the bike. always remember to do wat you want with your bike. and don't follow blindly. :thumb:
