i don't think there are any voltmeters that are specifically built to be water-proof for bike use. Most are taken straight from car accessories shop... the only one that i can think of is the acumen gear indicator + voltmeter.

the voltmeter u place below your wind shield. so how the hell it came into contact with water? unless u splashed water there while washing your bike. other wise even in heavy rain, the windshield should cover the voltmeter from rain. :giddy:

juz wondering if anyone here fell victim to cats which made your bike their little cozy getaway?

Recently, I found out that these cats actually put many holes into my seat. What's worst, due to the commencement of the monsoon season, its been like raining everyday and the sickening part is that after every raining session, water would seep into my seat. From there, my seat have been leaking water everytime i sit on it.

Juz wanna noe if the normal wraps found in the seat wraps shops, are they water-proof? Do i nid to look-out for anything b4 re-wrapping the seat. Its really damn irritating!! Even after i cover my bike, water still gets in.

Guys, any idea if the market sells really water-proof bike cover? I now resort to placing a trash bag on top of my seat b4 covering my bike.

th leather u use to rewrap yr seat is water resistant so the inner foam should not get wet. :thumb:

no leh... never kena water before... even when i park at open air carpark, i will use a piece of cloth to cover it for extra protection from rain.... that's why i am puzzled why its like that.... :(

actually if u place ur voltmeter under the windshield, its highly unlikely that it will kena water... during movement no issue... but if park in open air carpark, must put cloth of plastic bag for additional protection... :)

Oh! Perhaps the device actually came in contact with water?

Doesn't the device have a warranty? Bring it back to the person u bought it from, perhaps they can do something?

I'm looking for a voltmeter myself. Was at the Super Import Night and saw some very nice voltmeters going for $60 - $128. I didn't buy bcoz i was told tat it wasn't water proof.

Is there such thing as a water-proof voltmeter out there in the market? Anyone?

Not sure about any branded ones but the ones I saw on a few Honda Waves seem robust and my bro's Transalp too.

Kinda troublesome. Does it have an accessory like a transparent cover or something? Similar to the ones used for mobile phones.

No, i just slot the tip of the plastic bag in between the rider and pillion seat.

The purpose is to let the cat see got something on the seat,

then cat think cat cannot lie properly on the seat to sleep,

cat goes away find kelvin_Luff's seat,

cat see kelvin_luff seat got no medicated oil no plastic bag,

cat think cat can sleep properly,

cat jump up , but slip

while cat slip, cat use claw hold on kelvin_Luff's seat....

opps cat said, cat claws make some scratch on kelvin_Luff's seat,

but cat continue to jump few time, scratch few time kelvin_Luff's seat,

then finally cat succeed ,

cat sleep till next morning.

kelvin_Luff next morning come and cat faster slips,

kelvin_Luff's see his seat not only warm warm, got cat smell, cat fur, but also cat scratch marks on seat...
