HI ALL, my friend got his Nsr 150 Black Base With Purple Honda Stolen over the night parking @ the multi-storey carpark @ bedok south. His number plate is FT 3327 L...

 

So pls help him to take a look out for his bike...

i forgot to mention..my idling is abt 1000 rpm. wen it goes over d hump, it will drop to 600rpm den stall. i noe its normal to stall wen d idling is too low.. however it didn use to be dis way..only recently.

Tried to adjust to abt 1.2k rpm, bt engine will still stall..though nt as often..

 

check if under ur seat, the cdi plug is plug in properly. I has a loose plug once and it kept stalling whenever i go thru a harm with rough vibration.

I would like to ask abt busa tensioner/timing chain...

How to know/detect the symptoms if it is going to spoil/loose?

at 24k mileage. if do ur valve clearance servicing, usually the mechanic will check the tensioner/ chain/ shims for u. Its best to replace all the shims :D good luck

inspect clearance if no problem no need do, if got problem then do. should be the way right? U mean there is another period for servicing the clearance?

replace when servicing schedule is due (based on mileage)... don't guess and don't wait till got symptoms before replacing..

 

cuz when it fails you can say bye bye to your valves, head and pistons... :cool:

different bike shop different quote. If u frequent a bike shop, call to quote. Outside valve clearance and checking the tensioner/chain/shims should be range from $380-$500. some may charge extra for replacement depending on what to replace.... Ask for other's opinion, i may be wrong somewhere. :angel:

No, USA but I travel a lot with my job. In a few months I will be down in South America in Rio then over to Trinidad.

Been wanting to get that grab bars but it cost a bomb to ship to singapore from USA.... haha...

True.. then you have to wait weeks and weeks to get your stuff. The company I ordered this from was out of Canada and he is on ebay. So far his prices are some of the best I've seen.

 

I was a little nervous about cutting into the back cowl in-order for it to sit over the grab bars but it worked out good.

I've done my ex at almost 70k...all intact and within range...but I was a slow rider...

RM 70-150 depend on type of shop... in KL lah :)
