my bike is in a very safe place under the warmth of its "blanket". unauthorised personnel will not be able to gain access to the compound.

i dun think there is any particular brand or model la. it depends on the capacity you need and the quality you expect. Mr NA has one which i think is very good. enough for a week trip of clothings and has good quality. maybe you can ask him to show you?

i'm actually not so worried about the capacity of the bag... i am more concern about how it is secured to the pillion seat... most tail bags only use 4 elastic straps to hook onto the bike... like not very safe leh... o_O

if i remember correctly, the tail bag NA is using has 3 straps, non-elastic. two secured to each pillion foot rest and one on the tail itself. the bag has a non-slip surface on its bottom which rests on the pillion seat, preventing it from sliding. tested by him on his trip to Phuket. no problems at all. further details, you have to get to him.

If you want it to be very secure, then how about getting hard panniers like mine and Tish? Confirm secure. And the racks can be removed in SECONDS too, leaving 4 small, almost invisible mounting holes left.

My apologies to all Busarians on the thread but I need to vent tis frustration and anger!

MAY THE ****ER / ****ERS WHO HAD VANDALISED ON MY BIKE BEFORE AND RECENTLY STOLE MY REAR BRAKE HOSE, YOU'R HEREBY CURSED BY ME TO A HORRIBLE DEATH OR PERMANANTLY PARALYSED FOR LIFE FOR BEING A LOW CLASS PATHETIC RIDER!!!

sorry to hear about that, mav... i somehow believe if anyone build his vehicle base on stolen parts, he will not be safe on the road and will be punished someday..

Yo bro MERC ...

I was actually referring to putting up a Hayabusa 2nd hand parts thread in the Garage Sales section of this forum, not this one. I know this thread belongs to someone else. Just slipped my mind to put my thoughts into words. Sorry for the miscommunication bro ..

Anyways, so far only you and bro Kaieiru have replied to my postings. Well, I guess we'll have to wait a lil bit longer for other Busa bros to give their input. If all goes well, I'll volunteer to start and keep the thread up to date. If not, I'll just have to scrap the initial plan lor.

Thanx once again Bro MERC and Bro Kaieiru for ur support. See ya ....

I've been a victim of bike theft too, my TZR was stolen before on top of the various bike parts that went missing from my various bikes. I wonder if the people who stole them use the parts themselves or sold them off? How do you knowingly use a stolen part as important as brake hose and feel safe?

you forgot to mention, it cannot be any tree. it must be a COCONUT TREE!!
