Congrats! The bike is great for high speed touring... but if you looking for comfort... get the STX, ST11, FJR1300. :thumb:

i dont know abt thers but i rode up t thailand with the busa and fjr. in terms of comfort.. the fjr made me very tired the posture almost killed me.. the onli plus point for fjr is the lugage space other than that no speed no fun, u get tired sholders.. difficult time when squeezing thru traffic.. other than that fjr is a good bike.. :angel:

eh... no one help you meh? I thought they already answered the question?

What should you do after you buy your bike ---> Ride it often and get used to it... that's how you get acquainted to your bike and feel it.

 

Other things like protections, performance and even storage are up to individuals preference and pocket depth. And NA already gave a very comprehensive list of the basic things to do. :thumb:

 

Hayabusa group? This is a hayabusa group lor.

Welcome to the family. For touring, make sure u do all the maintenance, get some life saver gears/tools and with direction, u are ready anytime!

Sorry pal, from what i know now, the only busa group u can find in SBF is those hanging around chatting in this thread.

 

If u are talking about local group, the group they come with different bikes.

 

When busa ride together, its it a group ? if it is yes, then sometime u can find this orientation here.

Ah... so its the add on enhancements that made you say its cheaper than the busa! But then again, manufacturers can commit to bulk purchases, thereby lowering the cost of the parts right? Users like us pay have to pay $800+ for a damper, but KTM one shot buy 10000 pieces, maybe they are getting it at $400 or lower? I always believe the power of mass purchases pushing down prices.

You rarely get a single make group here except for the Harley riders/ clubs. The rest are usually a mixture. Even Ducati guys also tend to mix around with the other Conti bikes.

 

IMO, its fun to meet up with people riding different bikes... all the same, very boring lah... then people would start to do things to outdo each other, to be different... that is why until now, I still stock... because I very humble and low profile. I dun like to show off to other people or do things to make my busa look different from others. In fact, I am so humble I usually dun ride my busa out because it is too flashy! I would ride my pulsar or sometimes my RS250 also. Yes, 3 bikes... very humble hor? :angel:

 

Did I mention I very low profile? :cheeky:
