went to check with bike shop.. found out my k1 busa trade in value only 6k. was expecting 10k or sometin. i noe its depreciation reality la but knn dats quite a shitload sia.. considering still in gd workin condition so was tinkin might as well keep it n do some fancy crap in future. anyone bros can give me a clue how much does it cost to extend the coe? is it possible for 5 yrs or must be 10 yrs?

 

simple maths.. a gen 1 busa cost ~23k OTR brand new so depriciation is ~2k per year. the bike K1 so left ~2-3 yrs u get a trade in value of 6k which is ok. and that is not alot of depreciation. its normal... :thumb:

The cost of COE is the average of the past 3 months coe. If you extend for 5 yrs, you must scrape the vehicle once the COE ended and if you extend for 10 yrs, you are still eligble to extend the COE once it has ended. However do note your road tax will comes with a loading of 10% a yr till it reached the 5th yr. Eg, rd tax for your bike at 11yrs old is 110% of your normal rd tax, 12yrs old 120% and so on until 15yrs old at 150% which is the max it can go.

 

The buying price for your bike is consider okay. My bike shop just bought over a 02 FJR for 6k only. Condition is okay also.

 

thanks for the info bros.. guess i can check the coe prices at one motoring rite? see how la.. got a gd 2 yrs to go. but didn noe that the road tax tingy oso apply to bikes. wondering how much your bike shop offering for the FJR..

seen lots of old busas with FR to FV plates sitting in bike shops. 4 yrs ago wen scourging for busa so damn hard to find.. now its like 2b bike.. all over the place. in fact lately oso seen lady busa riders frequently...

People want Busa is because human has greed problems, Busa is very fast and Busa has very strong presence ... :p :P :p

If Honda Black Bird will to come out 1500cc, going under 30k and can do 350km/hr stated on papers for its engine potiential,

People will go for it ...

It is because is Jap made, cheap and fast.

After 5yrs to 7 yrs down the road, all 2nd hands will starts to Le-Long and Busa will disappear ...

If Suzuki engineer failed to keep up.

This may happen ... or may not happen ... :cool:

 

kawa also have similiar power and speed and the mid punch is even stronger than busa. but why not so many zx12 or zx14 :angel:
