Hi Quizesilver,

I have been following this thread regularly and always see ur logins, suddenly I read that you got involved in a mishap. Very sorry to hear that. I believe you are a very good and experienced rider but we riders, unlike drivers, are always on the vulnerable side. As u say, "even u careful u also may kenna".

Hope that you recover soon. Take care. :)

thks bro, ride safe ya.

Thanks again for the two bros who guided me for the sat clear carbon trip.

quizesilver- Sorry to hear about what happened, take care and have a speedy recovery. From the pic, u hit the rear door and not the bumper, confirm the driver nv give way to you and carry on to turn halfway then u hit the rear door. If he already turn out how u hit the side door leh.

well done on the clear carbon,

ride safe.

haha.. the most likely answer will be ~ "because i'm driving a toyota rush" :cheeky:

guys, just be extra careful at junctions, esp those uncontrolled T junctions.

i seen accidents at these places too many times.. :nono:

The bang is on the rear, show that your brake is not powerful enough.

It means the car is already out more than 50% and you are speeding.

You better think of a better story to counteract.

They will always analyze things in this way.

I think you are holding too many PB, you and the bike too power ... :p

Glad you ok, have a speedy recovery.

In my biking history, I have 3 Honda XRs brfore.

2 XR400R and 1 XR650R, all braking power cannot make it for roads. :faint:

Converted XR650R to motard with big brake rotor, caliper, sintered pads, radial masterpump and semi slick road tyres than is something ...

Stock is absolutely crap ... :pity:

Ya the stock braking is just frucked up.

Hmmm didn know u had an Xr650 as well...:bow::bow:

common busa problems regardless of which year

for the brakes you could bleed yr brakes again properly.

for the brakes did your friend use stock mastercylinder. Its advisable to change to a aftermarket brake master cylinder to get better feel. and for 5th to 6th gear u just need to kick harder.. :thumb: if it get stuck in false neutral between 5th to 6th gear. just clutch in and go to 5th gear first then change to 6th gear again you donthav eto go to road side to do that. :thumb:

Keep your fingers crossed for the gear shift issue. The worst case scenario is a worn out shift fork. You'll have to open up the lower engine cases for it to be replace :goodluck:

There's no replacement for displacement except for a blower
