Hey guys, Im looking for my dash board pins... The 2 large pins just below the grips.. I went to KS and the uncle say he doesn't have it. Any idea where I can get those?

 

You can replace those with other bike models pins like Honda or get the metal coloured ones from the shop beside Ah boy

Option 1- you can change to an aftermarket fuel pump Walbro 255 and a Aeromotive FPR.

You can also transfer the walbro fuel pump and the Aeromotive FPR to the battery compartment.Tested and proven it works and solves the current problem.

 

 

Option 2- Since its an external filter you will need to maintain it more often and regularly to keep the fuel pump healthy in order keep the correct 43 psi fuel pressure going.

 

Option 3- Do the fuel pump mod by permanently removing the internal filter and fit an in line external filter.

It fits before the fuel pump.

Fyi 99 to 00 model hayabusa fuel pump generates lots of copper colored gunk that comes from the fuel pump itself.

Walbro pump can get locally but model 255 you need to search or ask around.

 

No for option 2.

1)5/16th fuel hose

2)Stainless steel hose clamps.

3)new seals and o-rings for fuel pump

4)inline fuel filter

5)1 large stainless steel hose clamp

6)Tape for the screw

7)time and patience

Yeah!! I am looking forward to view ur ride too Bro Mercenary, i am also having signs of dat fuel injector problems coming but i just got it cleaned by my bike shop recently, eventually will still need to replace.

Im experiencing knocking sound on my clutch side of the engine casing when pulling my clutch but after some ride the sound goes away.. It sound lyk è ducati dry clutch but only dat itz softer.. Wat could it possibly be? Clutch plate? Clutch basket? Anw,bike is arnd 75000km in odo.. Izit due to wear and tear? Help and advice wanted here.. Tanx bros..

Only during the initial start at the beginng of the day?? or when you off the engine and start it again the sound will be there??

From my understanding the clutch plates are loud specially when the bike is cold but will reduce alot after she's in operating temperature. My bike also like that and shouldn't be any issue. But on the same note, depending the kind of sound, it maybe also due to a faulty crankshaft bearing!!!better bring down to your mech to have a look at it if you are worried...Have you check your engine oil level BTW?

i think it is cause by the tensioner

the timing chain is loose.

 

clutch plate technically do not make "noise" u will only experience clutch slip if there is any problem to it.
