any brothers in the house using TRE for their busas? any diff? smoother acceleration? :help:

The guys here linked you some very nice TREs... cheapest is DIY... the 5th gear is 6.8K ohm (6,800 ohm)... can buy from Sim Lim at $0.40 or less each.

Locate your GPS (Gear position sensor) can trace backwards from gear box (look for the connevctor like in the TREs you see in the pictures... should have 3 wires... pink, blue and black.

disconnect (cut also can) pink wire (between the connector and where it goes into the crankcase/gearbox)... link/connect the pink* to the black (don't cut off the black wire... just splice a bit)... leave the blue alone/unmolested/untouched.

There you go... done.

* you gotta link the pink wire that is going towards the ECU/CDI unit... not the side that's going to the GPS.... obviously ;-p

Afterall this forum is open to public. Close friends or friends who personally know him is ok la, but if other ppl who maybe in future got offended by him or have any grudges against him or just wanna steal his busa spare parts.. they will know where to disturb his precious bike.. lolx. just my 2 cents worth. :cheeky:
