R.I.P BOB.You were planning a trip to golden triangle later part of the year, that you told me about.

In memory of bob..we should all organise a trip somewhere...and stop at the particular spot to pay him respect...

Bros,

My deepest and heartiest condolenscenses to the family. Even tho I am a stranger but I had the pleasure of knowing Bob & Iwan on my recent trip. I was a lone ST11 rider from the STOC club on a solo ride to all the way to rantau panjang, Kelantan, the other entrance to Thailand. This was on the 18th Feb, Sunday.

I met them at Sg Besi Petrol station and it was raining heavily, I was stucked there. Then came 2 bikes, one hayabusa with his fiancee and the other were the brothers. All drenched and I was abt to go. We chatted as to where we were going. They were going to Genting. Bob gave me some tips on the best possible route to where I was going. I even lighted him a ciggi as he was wet. We parted and told them to ride safe. Little did I know it was the first time and the last time we were going to meet.

I only came to know the news recently & it shocked me totally. The coicidence of our meeting was to be a very shocking one. I din know we share the same birthday, even tho I am 40 and me celebrating my birthday today with my wife and 3 kids and he was gone at the age of 24. I felt it. Plus his nick Bob is the same as mine in some circles of my friends. We both leave in Pasir Ris. It was like an intersection of life there.

I would like to see the family coz I may be one of the last people he had seen. Iwan's brother and Bob's fiancee would have remembered me, a small guy on a blue ST. Please furnish me with their address, bothe arwah Bob and Iwan. I would like to see their family. I dun know why. Maybe its fated, rest in peace coz both of us shared the same passion of riding. We have so many things in common that we dun know.

To all riders, please ride safely but if its time to go, then its time to go. Take care.

It was me. thanks. too bad only ship to US. IMO the luggage space is also too small for large items like helmets.

Ya,

it can't store a helmet but item like raincoat, clothes, tools etc..is still ok!For touring is very useful to put clothes!I like this box, find it nice! It's very heavy too!

What exactly happened? :giddy:

I'm feeling you, but just like you say,"if its time to go, then its time to go". That's also what made me decide on picking up bike riding when I made me decision too.

unless you are just buying the "good look" (subjective to one's visual) ... provided you are not carrying another person...use the pillion seat pack..or back pack...save the ba;ance for your next set of rubbers :)

Paging for TLK, can we merge this "memorial ride" into the 30th April Ride? We are going the same way anyway...after the respect paying to Bro Bob and Bro Iwan...we, busarian here, can make our own way or set a destination together..be it cameron, hatyai, krabi, phuket or just ipoh or lumut..how about that?

other opinion..taiko here?
