Check out these 2 links for solutions for the hump storage space mod. Price a bit steep for the first option thou and I'm not sure whether they ship international, option 2 is a cheaper alternative which I hav done.

The shipping will be cheaper if you order a few kits at once. Here are a few sample prices which include shipping.

Basic Kit - 1 for US$15.78, 2 for US$30.07, 3 for US$44.36.

Deluxe Kit - 1 for US$26.98, 2 for US$51.47, 3 for US$75.96.

Well now, the white 06 LE that I was looking at has been snapped up by another buyer when I turned up to pay the deposit. The question is, is this good or is this bad, because it's only another 48 hours until the 08 model is revealed at a dealer's meeting in the States... maybe the 08 will be a quantum leap forward... :faint: or maybe it won't  . I guess we'll know soon... although I still fancy the present model in solid white :thumb: or solid black :thumb: :thumb: :) :)

LE is NOT approved for Singapore roads. You can only buy the "looks" of a LE. Which means you will buy a K7 model and they will change all the boddy work to LE (Fairing, Tank, Rims, etc) but NOT the engine. That's the reason it will cost approximate S$2K extra.

Hope that's is clear.

Thanks - to be fair to the dealer they did tell me exactly that. I wasn't so much looking for the LE specifically as an all-white or all-black bike... the gray/blue combo they have in the showroom looks too much like a Euro-Renault or Toyota Picnic color (no offense intended....)
